Resolve

As the door of the SA club ( semi-awakened club ) opened a gentle breeze carrying dust came towards Richard.

*cough* *cough*

"It been a month since I last came here" said Richard with a heavy tone. Looking at the room which  was big enough to keep a few small machines, 3 tables and 3 chairs for each member of the club, Richard grimaced. He saw the table at the Centre of the room which belonged to the president Risa, which was now empty, never to be filled again. 

Crap I can't start crying again. Revenge, yeah revenge, Cassie's life that's what I need. For salvation making her suffer much worse than what she did to Risa is my goal, but to achieve this I need power, power to confront her and cunning to outsmart her. 

While in deep thought trying to find a solution to this problem Richard took out a piece of paper and a pen and sat on the dusty chair which belonged to him without a worry about his clothes. Jotting down whatever possible solutions came to Richards mind, the page slowly getting filled with sentences and words… as time passed and finally… he couldn't reach any conclusion which could be suitable to achieve his goal.

He knew himself that the only thing which he was good at was the technical aspect of machines for awakened which was taught to him by his family or should he say Angler Corp whom Richard didn't even consider as his own. They had abandoned him, never cared for him. His older brother and even his younger sister treated him like a failure as he was one of the unlucky … a semi awakened.

But what could making machines help him with to fight against Cassie who was a top awakened. Not even bullets could harm her abnormally strong body. While most thought it was a perk of being a top awakened of a legacy clan, but it was due to Richard being a Semi awakened he knew that it was because of the thick layer of ice based manos around her skin which acted as an impenetrable wall of defense. 

If only he could disrupt this layer of manos so that even a knife cut would be enough to make her bleed to death which would be a suitable ending for that witch thought Richard. But all this was just pipe dream which couldn't be achieved by him. 

All he knew about Cassie was that she was one of the strongest awakened in the college and had her affinity towards ice based manos helping her control temperature at will along with forming ice shards and project them at deathly speeds to kill her target. One of her strongest moves which was quite famous was 'absolute zero' which allowed her to manipulate ice manos in the surroundings freezing it making an ice terrain. Thinking of this Richard couldn't help but feel slightly hopeless.

In the silent room Richard closed his tired eyes and shifted his head to look at The table at the Centre. " Risa I am not giving up so soon ". With a light chuckle he got up and left for his room.
