I wrapped my arms tigther around her body when she moved. I’d woken up ten minutes ago, but I didn’t want her to go. We must’ve slept during the movie. Popcorn crumbs, the napkins and the blanket was telling a story. She pressed her soft lips against my cheek. I waited for her to come back and sleep. She came back a few minutes later. I put my head on her chest. I needed a good sleep, but I couldn’t sleep. In the end, I couldn’t and opened my eyes. She was staring at me with her beautiful brown eyes. I smiled. “What time is it?”
“5 a.m.” I nodded and closed my eyes again. “Jackson,” she said. “Hm?” My eyes were still closed. “Can you open your eyes?” I opened my eyes. “Yes, sweetheart?”
“Do you want to watch the sunrise?”
“Seriously? It’s freezing out there.” She nodded. I closed my eyes. “Let’s just sleep. We class in a few hours anyway.”
