Interrogation

The room was lit, but not entirely bright and not entirely dark to the point that one wouldn't be able to see a thing. As for Miller, Alex and Catherine, this wasn't a problem as they could all see in the dark.

The room wasn't only filled by this three as Jason, Watson and even Lillian was there. All the six of them were sitting in a long bench.

It was inside the school, but right now they felt like their right to freedom of movement or liberty has been denied to them. The room walls surrounded them in a cube sharp and it was extremely quiet. It felt like some kind of soundproof wall.

Even with Miller's super hearing which was much more higher than An Average Vampire, the only thing he could hear from outside was mumbling and not even clear. The room walls were silver in colour and there was a light that was attached to the ceiling.

The light wasn't strong enough to be able to light up the entire room and it wasn't completely useless either as a little part of the room could be seen.

The bench they say at was facing another room inside the room they were in. Jason had tried to open that door, but it seemed like it was locked and they could only assume it was done deliberately. If someone got close to the door and looked at the left, they would see a glass, like it was a window.

Using his X-ray, Miller was able to see through it. The room looked like an interrogation room. It has a table coloured brown and two chairs both coloured brown. On top of the table was a paper and a pen.

The sound of the doors opening could be heard and once Jason saw them his heart started to beat up rapidly. With Catherine, Alex and Miller's super Hearing they were able to hear his heartbeat and this annoyed Miller.

Catherine pretended like she didn't hear anything, she didn't want Alex to be supicious of her. She didn't want Alex to know she was a Dhampir.

The Five people walked in. All dressed in casual black and as the last time. A bulky man could be seen behind them who looked very muscular and was dressed in suit and wore sun glasses.

Looking at him, Miller couldn't help but think that this guy looked like a body guard or maybe a bouncer would be the right word.

"Have you all been able to guess why we called you out all of everyone in the school." A man said. It was thesame man who had called Miller, Alex and Catherine's name in the Martial Arts class.

The six of them looked at each other and then looked at the man and then kept quiet indicating a NO.

"Well. can't you guess speak." One of them who was a lady shouted.

"No. We have no idea!" Miller snapped almost instantly angrily.

"It's because of Emily." The man said. "We are the special Mutants they Government had sent to make our own investigations."

"During our investigations, we found out that Catherine didn't have a lot of close friends. So we had to ask you guys this question one by one about your last encounter with Emily." The man ended.

"But let me warn you." The man said again. "It is better you didn't do anything to Emily or get involved in hiding Emily or else you would be begging for death."

When he said these words Jason's heartbeat increased again and he fell on the floor on his knees and tears ran through his cheeks like a river with high Current.

"It is all my fault... I caused everything... If i hadn't gone outside and told her to come outside her hostel... Nobody would have taken her... She wouldn't have been kidnapped by the Magician." Jason said stuttering.

This was something people didn't know in the School apart from Miller, Jason (Himself), Watson, Alex and Catherine. Even Lillian doesn't know about this.

"What did you say." The lady said.

WHOOSH!

In an instant Jason's necked had been gripped by her and he was shaking and begging for his dear life. It happened so fast that nobody could see her move; all they felt was a sudden breeze touching their faces.

'Is she that fast.' Miller thought a bit worried.

Even to him, she seemed extremely fast at least If the Werewolves were attacking, he could see their movements. But she was almost a blur. It reminded him of how fast James is.

'No, James is certainly faster.' Miller thought.

"You don't have to kill him!" Catherine shouted at her.

"What did you just say." The lady looked at Catherine with anger in her eyes expecting this Teenager to be at least scared. But she wasn't even a bit frightened.

"You would kill him." Catherine said this time a little bit soft, she knew if she was going to fight this people she would have to use Magic and Magic is meant to be kept secret.

Jason on the other hand was still struggling for his breath as he could feel the hand squeezing him more and more.

"She is right, that's enough." The man who looked older than all of them said. "We don't want to kill him instantly, we just want him to suffer."

The lady let go of her grip and Jason fell on the floor holding his neck as he could still feel the pain on his neck.

Intrigued by the display, Miller decided to use his Inspect Skill on her.

[Inspect]

[Inspect Failed!!!]

"What the..." Miller almost blurted that out because of shock. His inspect skill hadn't failed him before. So why did it suddenly do.

Being confused, he decided to use his Inspect Skill on the others as well.

The five of them couldn't be Inspected by Miller's Inspect skill and he didn't understand why. This was something he was certainly going to ask the System later.

"Where are you taking him." Catherine said. "He didn't do anything wrong. He only told you the truth."

The five Mutants were carrying Jason out of the room and they had heard what Catherine had said. But they refused to ignore all except one. The lady turned and looked at her before shutting the door behind her and said:

"Oh, Sweet Heart. Even if he didn't kidnap her like he said. He is still going to he punished for his actions."
