CHAPTER 1:THE END AND THE NEW BEGINNING

In a night cold as ice,screams and roars of warriors fighting on the battlefield resonated strongly. Among them, two were clashing in a fiery battle. The first was a warrior cladded in a blue-silver full-body armor which covered every part of his body. And in his hands, he wielded a heavy greatsword with similar color to his armor. His opponent wore a long coat with a mix of silver, black and light blue and had a white mask covering his face entire face. His long silver hair flowed in the wind as his eyes had a whitish glow emanating from the eye part of the mask. He wielded a one-handed shortsword similar to a katana. The two warriors clashed in an epic battle where their moves were swift as the wind and fast as light. The clash of their strength was earth-shattering and their sword slashes were sky-rending. The two warriors continued their battle, their gazes meeting as if conversing in friendly chatter. As their fight raged on, proving that each had reached the pinnacle of his sword, one could only be in awe of the greatness of the magical swordmasters who had reached the apex of strength. As their battle reached its climax, the armored warrior first sticked his sword into the ground and removed his helmet.

Under it was the face of a middle-aged man in his mid forties with a straight-lined scar on his left eye. "My name is Xenos the Paladin. Though most know me by the monicker of the Divine Warrior." said the armored warrior as he introduced himself to his opponent. In response to this, the silver haired warrior removed his mask which hid the face of a young man in his early twenties, having sharp eyes with a hinted black colour and shadowey golden glow. With a small grin on his face, he exlaimed "Hey old man! You're quite the tough guy.'' the armoured warrior then said "Well same for you, it is surprising to find young talents such as you who can match up to me. So may I ask who you are?", the young warrior answered "I'm but a mercenary who was paid by the army to participate in this war. I don't know my own name but I am known as Spriggan." Xenos then picked up his sword, bowed down his head to his opponent and then to took on a stance.

As if understanding the intentions of the swordmaster, Spriggan also took on a stance and screamed "Let's go all out with a final bang. What do you say old man?" and Xenos answered "Agreed. I'll give it my all with this final strike".

The two who were preparing for the final act of their battle, unleashed a surge of energy which enveloped their bodies and swords. As their clash drew near, Xenos unleashed his technique "Sword Art:Tempest Wind Blade" while Spriggan unleashed "Shadow Arcane Phase of Fire:Ameterasu<Homura >". The clash created a massive energy explosion creating a giant crater. Amidst the falling dust, a silhouette was standing. It was Xenos covered in blood, with a big scar on his chest, and his armor cracked and breached. Next to him on the ground, also covered in blood, was Spriggan.

"Hey old man. I lied to you earlier. I do have a name. It's Jason. And also thank you for sparring with me. It was fun". With a light satisfied smile on his face he then died. "You were very strong Jason. I'll remember you. The warrior who managed to push me to my limits." And so after the big battle, Xenos's side won the war after a week. We then go on Earth, in modern Japan, in Tokyo, where a young boy enters the bus on his way to school but after 30 minutes, the bus derails and crashes in an accident where most passengers got greatly injured or died. As the young boy who was critically injured lost consciousness, he saw a glowing light in a dark space and then heard a voice saying "Let me give you another chance at life. But know that for everything received, you must give one of equal value, hence one day when I require it, you shall be my proxy and my blade. Until then enjoy this new life." And then the light disappeared and the young boy awoke in a grassland near a small village.
