CHAPTER 2:Awakening in Another World

As he awoke in that grassland, the young boy is striked with both excitement and anxiety. Trying to figure out what happened, he recounts the information he has "O-okay let's see, my name is Asaru Takayoshi, I'm 16 years old, and I go to Yamauchi High, in Kusatsu town, in Gunma Prefecture. I was on my way to Tokyo, I took the bus and then, and...then…." Upon realizing the truth the young boy remembered the accident he was involved in and had a confused face.

He proceeded to calming down and remembered the words of that voice and monlogued "So I'm dead and now what? I got like Isekai'ed in another world? And that voice I guess it was a God, plus it said that I had to repay the favour.". After realization, the young boy told himself that if he prayed then that voice would respond to him but to no avail.

As he explored his surroundings, he noticed that his body was much smaller than before. His appearance resembled that of a small child who is at least 6 years old and he had silver hair with black highlights.

Without knowing what do, he wandered in that place seeking help until he noticed a small village in the surroundings and decided to go there. But then, he asked himself what to do after that. He didn't know the background of his new body, where he was and how to survive.

Hence he decided to use the amnesia play where he would only know his name which would be "Ace" and his age being 6 years old. On his way to the village, a man saw him and approached him "Hey kid,you lost?". Ace directly faced the man and to his surprise he understood the man. He then proceeded to answer him to see if he could speak the same language. "Y-y-yes I'm lost, I woke up there on the grassland and I can't remember where I came from?" he spoke with a low voice.

The man then asked him his name "What is your name?". Asaru(Ace) answered "My name is Ace…I think?". Taken aback by the weird reaction of the boy, he proceeded to introduce himself "My name is Chris, Chris Blakelord". After introducing himself he asked "Why don't you accompany me back to the village? I went to hunt and I'm going back home, so what do you say?".

For Ace, it was the best outcome hence he nodded in agreement. They then went towards the village. Chris explained the situation to the village guard and accepted to let them pass. After arriving at Chris's house, Ace saw a woman. It was Chris's wife, "Ellie Blakelord". Chris explained what happened to his wife and suggested that Ace stay with them to which the wife agreed. The couple said to the boy "What do you say to staying with us for the time being?" and the boy accepted.

They fed him, gave him a place to sleep and that is how the day ended for the young boy. Ace told himself that the couple was very kind and that if he hadn't met them, he might have died. And so he decided that he would repay their kindness and he fell asleep.
