4 A Big Problem I
Next Day
Veer wakes up hearing his friends' voice and he realizes that he is late for school again. Veer quickly gets ready and comes downstairs. His mother is waiting with breakfast as usual. Veer gets up and rushes ahead. Then Saanvi, Veer's mother calls out to him and stops him. Veer doesn't have much time, but he still stops.
"Son, it has been 2 years since your father passed away," Veer gets a little serious after hearing this from his mother. Saanvi further says, "I understand that you have not yet come out of this shock, but son, if you don't focus on your studies, your problems may increase. After all, you have to support this house in the future, son." Hearing all this, Veer gets very irritated but nods his head in affirmative. Then his mother takes out two 500-rupee notes from her hand and puts them in Veer's hand and tells him to go and give the complementary exam so that his year is not wasted. She then turns back and leaves.
Hearing this, Veer is stunned. He realized that his mother has come to know about his failure in mathematics. Even then, she did not say anything about it. Then Veer also goes out of the house. Ever since Veer's father, Aditya, died, Veer had completely stopped being interested in studies, although Veer was a very talented and smart student. But now Veer just wanted to stay away from reality, so with the money given by his mother, he goes to watch a movie with his friends. After skipping school for the whole day and having fun by watching movies with Veer's mother's money, Veer's friends come to drop him home when they see three people standing outside the house shouting at Veer's mother. All the friends are shocked to see this, but Veer realized that the people from the bank have come to harass his mother again. Veer starts feeling embarrassed in front of his friends.
"Mrs. Sanvi Singhania, what do you want? Your husband Aditya Singhania had taken a loan from our bank for his company and had mortgaged his house to the bank, so after his death, the responsibility of repaying the loan is now on you, but you have still not repaid the loan. If the situation remains like this, then we have the legal right to confiscate your house." A bank agent shouts. "Yes, you have the last 6 months to repay this loan or else we will confiscate your beautiful house." The second agent also interrupts. Veer's mother and sister were scared and nervous, the sister was crying holding her mother.
"Where will I get 3 crores from, Sir. You can see our condition after Aditya left and it is not as if we get any money from the old company. I am working with great difficulty to feed myself and my banks. Then from where I will get 3 crores?" Veer's mother said pleadingly. Hearing this, Veer's friends started supporting him and Veer felt as if his image was being ruined and if he did not do anything right now, then he would be doomed here too. Then Veer jumps into the fight.
"How dare you people come to my house and threaten my mother like this." Everyone is shocked to see Veer shouting in such anger.
"Aren't you people ashamed of how much my father has helped your bank. When your bank was on the verge of bankruptcy, due to that fraud case, my father alone saved your bank from that Star Group. And in the process of saving you people, my father incurred the enmity of that Star Group and because of that he lost his life and company. But you people, far from being grateful, come here to trouble us in the name of repaying the loan."
Saanvi tries to stop him. "Ah Veer, calm down." But Veer's anger had crossed the threshold.
"Hey kid! Leave the business and talk about this house. Your father had mortgaged this house to our bank while taking the loan." The first agent hissed. "If we don't get the full loan amount with interest, we will seize this house and throw you out of here. If you don't want to do this, then tell your mother to pay the loan amount, no matter from where you can pay it."
"Shut up. Why should I tell my mother? I am my mother's son Veer; I promise you all that I will have your 3 crores and will throw the amount right in your faces before the deadline." Veer roars. The girl standing with his friends smiles, which makes Veer's confidence reach the seventh sky, "Now get out of my house or else I will do something wrong."
"Kid, you only have 6 months' time, see what you can do." Saying this, all three agents leave from there.
Veer's mother keeps looking at him in surprise and Veer also goes inside the house. He had promised to give 3 crores in the name of stealing, but where will he bring it from, he had increased his problem even more. Then he remembers Dr. Khurana.
