Song Recommended: Take My Heart By Birdy
Her body was slightly trembling as she woke up. She had not been able to figure out what was going on with her own body. Lately every night, she's been waking up drenched in sweat. Her body always in some kind of buzz that made her feel like she had taken something that wasn't for her.
Maybe this was part of her punishment?
Drowning in all her fears and pain. Drowning in all the images of how her mother had been outraged by what had been happening. Drowning in the living memory of her banishment. The doubt. The horrors. They were all too real for her to easily ignore and she couldn't just ignore it.
They wouldn't let her.
She pushed herself out of bed but instead of being able to stand up straight or attempt to, her body pushed itself onto the floor. She had no strength, no feeling in her body and it hurt more than anything to not even have the one strength she should've been able to rely on.
Herself.
She felt her tear fall to the side and it didn't have the same crystal shine that it once had. This time there was no jar to collect it in. There was no one to smile at her and whisper that it would be okay. Her mother's fragile hands and her careful pepper kisses.
They fell more now and she didn't know how to control it. So she did what they told her to never do, she let it out. She cried loudly, her body shook more than it had when she was asleep. She ran out of breath but when she took in that deep breath, she felt life force itself back into her mortal body.
Her movement wasn't calculated. It had no purpose and a part of her wondered if this would be her life every single day. Moving around the room every single day, not knowing what to do or even how to do things.
She came to a stop when she noticed the box on the table. A box she knew had not been on the table as she and the man had cleaned up before the incident. Was it weird that she still didn't know what to call him? That she hadn't bothered to ask for his name though they had been in each other's company for weeks?
Looking around the room, she wondered where he had gone. As usual,he was there asleep or doing something with a device connected to his ears. What were they called again?
As she drew closer she noticed a letter attached to it. One that was written carefully but the closer she examined it, the more she noticed that it had been written in a rush. Whoever had written it, had no time…
…To Aural…
I know I said I would not leave in a rush, nor without any warning but things have changed. I have had to and I am sorry that things have had to be concluded before you even got the time to know me.
Or know my name.
But this is the life we live in, many people come and many people go.
You still have a lot to learn and some I wish I could have taught you but this is where you have to learn things like some humans who were unfortunate enough to not have someone to guide them.
This is where you need to learn from strangers but also from sites that have been introduced to us humans to learn. Sites like YouTube, which consists of millions, maybe billions of videos, of different people that are there to teach you or tell you about their experiences and knowledge.
So I would advise you to use that on how to cook certain foods, also on how to do certain things. Be careful of certain videos, they aren't always the best to take in and mimic.
Don't let strangers into your home, yes, your home. This apartment is yours. It's been paid for but you need to pay for utilities. The lights, water and so forth. In order to do that you need a job. Luckily I have someone who can help you, she will be there first thing tomorrow morning to get you to the job and teach you things I won't be able to.
Do not share your story of being an angel or fallen angel with people. Humans here tend to be very dangerous when it comes to creatures that they shouldn't be able to see.
Some help but others wish to experiment and others wish to kill. You will come across many creatures but you need to learn how to not show that you know that they aren't human. Some will expose themselves because they don't care but others, others will do anything to survive.
Including killing an archangel's daughter.
Power here, as I told you before, varies from choices and here, the bad choices sometimes get you the riches of the world but some of them get you nothing but suffering. Not everyone here gets the fair and best treatment but that's just how the world works.
I wish you luck and I hope you survive.
J.
The box consisted of a pair of clothing with a specific brand. There was money below it and then another small box. She reached into it and pulled it out. It felt slightly heavy and there was another note attached to it.
As I said before the world is dangerous and women are not always protected. Or seen as precious. These are tools that will help you survive, in case, you are in a position where no one will help you.
Ask her to teach you how to use them when she arrives tomorrow morning.
Her brows knotted together as she wondered what he meant and when she opened the box. She dropped it almost immediately from shock. She may not have been exposed to a lot of things when she arrived but she knew what this was.
It was a small black gun with bullets on the side and other products.
He got her weapons to protect herself with, there were no guardian angels here...
