Red Moon Gang

The next day, Hori woke up early to continue with his search for the Infinity Element Gauntlet.

According to what he wrote, Derek stumbled upon it while he was in the advanced part of the forest. Quite a distance away from where Hori was currently.

"Oi! Get over here". A voice called out in the distance.

Hori didn't really hear the voice. It was like a noise in the background. And even if he did hear the voice, he really wouldn't have thought that spoke was talking to him.

Since he didn't register the voice that spoke, he continued with his walk.

"Oi! Black haired kid walking away". The voice called out again. "I'm talking to you".

Hori paused slightly. This time, he did hear the voice, but he didn't think that the voice was talking to him. There was no way that some sun character would dare to speak to the author like that.

After having those thoughts, he smiled and made to continue his journey when he felt a hand wrap around his biceps and turned him around.

"What do you think you're doing?" Hori stumbled backwards. Or rather, he was pushed backwards and stumbled as the result.

"Excuse me?" Hori muttered. His voice coupled with his facial expression highlighting the confusion which he felt.

"Huh? Is this wanker serious". The figure that pushed Hori backwards said.

For the first time since the entire saga began, Hori seriously regarded the figure that was talking to him.

He was of average height. His sleeveless top revealed his muscular physique, he had short brown hair and black eyes. There was a broadsword strapped to his back.

"Give us all your money!"

Hori was slightly amused. "Who are you again?"

"We're the Red Moon Gang!" The figure said.

Hori raised an eyebrow. The way the figure spoke, it was as if he expected Hori to be scared after he mentioned the name of the gang.

"The what?" Hori asked when he realized that he wouldn't be getting any sort of an explanation after the first statement.

"The red moon gang". The figure said. "Haven't you heard of us?"

"You know what, that doesn't even matter". Hori said dismissively. "What matter is that you have the audacity to threaten the author. Do you know how grave this crime that you've committed is?" Hori said. He brought his rusted sword into view. "And for that, you deserve to die".

Hori wasn't a fool. He knew what was happening as soon as he started, him being quite 'experienced' in that aspect.

He just wasn't going to allow himself get robbed by a fool. Plus there was no way in hell that he was going to allow himself get robbed by some stupid amateur robber.

Saber tooth tiger bite!

Hori slashed at the figure in front of him without any words to reply his threat.

When his sword reached the figure, two long white solid looking saber shaped rods immediately bored into him from the sky. If one looked closely at the two saber rods, they would see that it resembled the teeth of a saber tooth tiger.

"Aargh!"

The figure only had time for a scream of agony before his body was turned into a paste of blood.

"You killed red snake!"

A few feet away, the figure that was watching shouted. His trembling index finger pointed to the corpse of his compatriot.

Anger and fury welled up in his eyes. "You fucking killed red snake!"

Hori smiled in response to the accusation. He cocked his head backwards and flung his sword over his shoulder, careful that he shouldn't injure himself.

"Yes I did". He moved forward and pointed his sword at the other figure. "I killed him, what are you going to do about it?"

The other figure clenched his teeth. "If I don't kill you today, then my name isn't crazy horse!"

Hori's lips twitched when he heard the name of the gang member. It took almost all his self control to stop him from laughing. He probably would've laughed if it was any other day, but the man was making a declaration of revenge. He had to accord him the respect of pretending to take him seriously.

From the moment that the first figure called his name, he had asked the system to use observation on them. They were just two Third Level Apprentice Rank assholes.

Crazy Horse removed a dagger that he had concealed within his clothes. He would've rushed towards his death had he not been held back by a youth that looked to be in his late twenties.

The youth had long black hair. His hair wasn't arranged in any way, just allowed to fall freely over his shoulders. He also had blue eyes and was staring at Hori with unfiltered hostility.

"He killed one of us". The youth said. "I'll be the one to end him".
