This is the worst AU ! Luffy is an innocent hunk !
The sky was blue. Completely bright without a single piece of cloud. It was a lovely day. And I was drifting towards the shells' town. Blue was sitting on the deck beside me while relaxing.
I had nothing particular to do in the shells' town. But I was going there just for the sake of captain Morgan. He was one of the most corrupted Marine captains in the entire East blue. Well top spot goes to Nezumi, but he is a pussy despite his rat zoan devil fruit. That's why Morgan was the most troublesome to deal with. Not only is he corrupt but also very prideful. I had to whip his ass a few times in the past in order to bring him to the line. Hopefully he now only takes bribes from the pirates and not troubling the citizens.
While I was thinking about Morgan, my destination appeared on the horizon. It was easy to spot since it was a large Island. I got up from the chair and got dressed. After wearing the sleeveless shirt and short skirts, I went to the helms to adjust the course. As a person with a high bounty I wouldn't want my ship to be docked at the official port. Luckily I knew about another abandoned port a little away from the town.

"Wow ! A giant blue chicken !"
As I was busy tying the knot of my caravelle on the port, I heard an obnoxious shout. The next thing I saw blew up my mind. A long tanned arm elongated with an astonishing speed and grabbed the neck of Blue, choking her immediately. The next thing I knew, a boy with a ridiculously wide sunny smile on his face came flying towards Blue. Due to the high speed, I couldn't see all the features of his face. But his wide toothy smile, a straw hat and red and blue clothes attracted my attention.
But in the next second, years of my experience and my instincts as a sailor kicked in and I immediately left the rope and jumped towards the ship. The very next moment the red blur slammed onto Blue, almost flipping my ship from the impact. Fortunately I was there to kick it in the opposite direction and stabilize it at the right moment.
"What the Fuck !" As I landed back on the almost broken wooden platform I cursed outloud.
My brain was already working on what it saw moments ago. Arms that could stretch. A smile that was down right more infectious than corona virus and an iconic straw hat. Looking up, my suspicion was confirmed when I saw the iconic under-eye scar, and a completely ordinary looking straw hat that was not ordinary at all !
But most importantly the boy was nothing like I had imagined. He was around similar height as me but with a lot of muscles. He was not the type of guy who had skipped the leg day. But he was definitely bulky. Muscular enough to be passed up as a hunk.
But then the realization of what the boy was trying to do hit me hard.
"Fuck ! You can't eat Blue !"

'Fuck ! It is good that I am good at hunting sea kings. Otherwise I don't know about one piece, or living without fear. But I will definitely be the most broken person on the entire planet. I mean the loan will be so great in order to feed him, that I will never be able to recover.' I thought as I saw the boy with exactly the same height as me devoured the entire sea king in a matter of seconds.
"Wow ! that hit the spot ! Thanks a lot !" The boy said with a sunny smile on his face. The smile was actually very innocent. And...free. For a moment I was so dazed that I just couldn't respond to him.
"It is okay. Just don't eat Blue. She is a friend. By the way, I am Nami. What's your name ?" I asked, breaking out from my thoughts.
"Shi shi shi ! I am Monkey D Luffy ! I am going to be the king of the pirates !" The boy said, smiling widely.

"So… You are here to find the pirate hunter Zoro ?" Nami asked Luffy.
"Yeah I wanted to find that pirate hunter guy, cause I wanted to see if I could recruit him into my crew. But I didn't come here for that. Actually my compass got lost and then I got sucked in by a whirlpool. Fortunately, somehow a cruiser ship rescued me and brought me here. Actually I didn't have anything to eat and I was so hungry.
Since everyone chased me away when they learnt that I didn't have any money, I came here to search for some food. Thanks a lot again Nami. I was really hungry ! Shi shi shi !" Luffy explained his situation.
"So you are on your own and trying to recruit people to join your crew ?" Nami asked him despite knowing the answer.
"Yup. By the way, you didn't tell me anything about yourself."
"Well as I told you my name is Nami. I am a navigator, cartopher, thief and burglar. And I also have a 22 million berries bounty on my head." Nami told Luffy hoping to get an invitation.
"Wait ! Navigator ? I heard that I will need a navigator in order to cross the grand line.
Hmmm…. But first I need a first mate, then a cook and then a singer…." Luffy counted his fingers as he walked along with Nami towards the town.
Nami's eye twitched when Luffy listed her job as the fourth most prioritized job in the ship.
"Oh ! If you are a navigator, then would you like to join my crew ?" Luffy finally asked after doing a lot of Luffy type calculations in his mind.
"Sure. You want to be the pirate king right ? Then I would love to become your navigator."
