Sequel: Chapter 9

Maria watched in amusement as Ursula strolled into Vincenzo's house. She had her nose scrunched up in disgust as she made sure Vincenzo noticed her displeasure. 

Vincenzo, on the other hand, pretended she did not exist. He was still mad at her for hurting his friend. It was so evident. Even though he had given Maria the go-ahead to invite her friend over, he still had his reservations concerning her. 

He wondered why she couldn't have just forgiven him and given him a second chance. He knew there was so much hypocrisy behind his thoughts since all this blew up to this messy extent because of him, but he couldn't help taking his friend's side. He did not like Ursula, and until Matteo healed, he would only tolerate her because of Maria.

The two enemies strode into the house just as Maria ran down to hug her friend.

"Marie!" Ursula screamed in excitement just as she saw her friend running to her. They jumped into each other's embrace and danced excitedly.
