Chapter 10: The Five Families

"What exactly are you trying to achieve?"

"Are you aiming to spark a large-scale clash among mafia families?"

"The five major families won't take this lightly!"

In the midst of the rubble, Meng Ge, Qatar family's godfather, collapsed in a pool of blood, trembling as he spoke.

"Adding the ones we annexed earlier," chimed in another.

"The Valoran family now controls a sea area comparable to ours," remarked the Genovese family's godfather in a deep voice.

"So what?" countered another leader.

"West Blue is teeming with mafia gangs, but the five major families remain supreme," he continued. "A family's strength isn't measured solely by the territory it holds."

The godfather of the Lulusia family smirked disdainfully, blowing a smoke ring casually.

"Yet many already see the Valoran family as the next in line after us," he remarked.

"In addition to territory, their disciples and influence are growing rapidly," he continued, assessing the Valoran family's expansion.

"The head of House Valoran won't halt their progress," he predicted. "Their next target will likely be one of us."

The godfather of the Columbus family frowned, whispering worriedly. After Valoran absorbed nearby mafia groups, they now bordered Columbus's territory, making them a probable target.

"So what," scoffed another leader, "are we afraid of a challenge?"

"Columbus, let's not tarnish the image of the five families," joked the godfather of the Bonano family, knowing their influence was farthest from Duke's.

"Enough," interjected the godfather of the Gambino family, the most influential among them. He gave Bonanno's leader a stern look.

"We can't forget our oaths," he reminded them. "If we allow others to weaken today, tomorrow it could be us."

"In West Blue, unity is our survival," he emphasized. "We must halt Valoran's expansion."

The five major mafia families had long-standing alliances in West Blue, prospering through mutual aid. But beneath the peace, tensions simmered as some questioned the unity under Valoran's growing influence.

I gradually began to have different ideas!

The godfather of the Bonano family has always wanted to annex the other four major families and become the real underground overlord of West Blue.

He even used this to become the emperor of the entire dark world.
