Ch 44 : Execution.

Nick reappeared next to the king who was in a much better state then before but still seemed depressed, they were standing on the top of a waterfall, the same place the battles for the throne of Wakanda and title of black panther happended, it seemed to also be where the king choose to hold Klaue's execution.

"So are things ready?" Nick asked, surprising the king and everyone around them, some guards even flinched and looked like they were about to attack him, Nick couldn't help but grin at their reactions.

Once the king regained himself he said, "Yes, everything's already set up we were just waiting for someone to come get you but now that you're here we can begin." The king then went on to give a search to the clans that had gathered on the difference layers of the waterfall, it ended with something to do with what a great service Nick had done for Wakanda yada yada yada and finally, "Let the execution commence."

Nick jumped down from the king's platform and landed close to Klaue's who was kneeling down in the water, near the edge of the waterfall, "You ready to die?" Nick asked the man.

"Fine, but make my death cool, a kid like you should be able to do something rememberable." He said with an uncaring attitude, like he wasn't going to be killed in a couple seconds.

Nick smiled at the man's fearlessness, it was respectable, "No one will ever forget it, I promise." Nick smiled as he walked past him and up to the waterfalls edge, confusing all around with his actions, shocking them further when he suddenly jumped off the edge.

Now the smart people stayed calm because they remembered the giant wings Nick has but some other more... simple-minded people started panicking for their new hero.

A couple seconds later great big orange and gold hands grabbed onto the waterfalls edge and soon after a giant fox head with black markings followed after the hands, nine tails fanned out behind it.

Nick could be seen inside the head of the fox, "How's this for cool?" Nick asked, his voice coming from the fox head.

"I... I honestly think you're over doing it kid." Klaue's grinned.

Nick smiled back before he became serious and gave Kurama the mental go ahead, the giant fox head opened it's mouth wide and bent down to Klaue, scooping him up inside it's mouth and biting down on his now bloody body, the sound of his bones breaking sounded like twigs snapping under someone's foot.

Everyone could hear the sounds of Kurama gulping down Klaue's minced up body and then they watched as he licked his blood covered teeth clean, letting off a satisfied burp after.

Nick dropped the tailed beast mode and filed down so he was standing where Klaue's was kneeling just before, looking around at all the stunned people, some of which had weak stomachs and were throwing up their lunch, "So... does anyone have any complaints about me, if so please step forward." Nick smiled at them all, no one moved closer, most actually back away in fear.

'Thanks for letting me get a bite of that guy.' Venom thanked Nick over their metal connection.

'You're welcome, I thought you deserved a treat after absorbing the Panther Habit, now, how goes the strengthening of my muscles and body?' Nick asked Venom.

'I've fully bonded myself with you, now it would be impossible for us to separate, and that's including if someone attacked you with sound, exploiting one of my weaknesses. Anyway, this has let me improve your whole body more easily so it can take the weight of your skeleton without effort, it will take more time to get the same result when you are exerting yourself.' Venom explained.

'That reminds me, I need to find a way to get rid of your weakness for sound and fire, I already have a couple ideas for the fire but the sound would be more difficult unless I can find a mutant that can control sound ... maybe I should get to work on a mutant welcome zone or building or something, I really have been neglecting my fellow mutants for quite awhile now.' Nick pondered.

'What's your solution for the fire? I know you have a ball of living fire above your head but that hasn't made you resistance to it, it just keeps your hair from getting wet.' Nick could feel Venom grinning and he didn't even need to enter his mind-scape to confirm it.

'It involves my lovely ... girlfriend, Death.' Nick said unsure of their actual relationship, as he also realised that he had been neglecting her feelings on the current situation, even though she said she was okay as long as she was with him, he knew deep down that she was just putting on a brave front for what ever reason ... most likely as she said, so Nick wouldn't leave her... , "I'm a lucky man... " Nick finally realised.

"Honey~ You home?!" Nick shouted out after he had teleported into Death's palace floating high above the underworlds dead body covered floors, but not before he made a quick stop at home to leave a little something behind for a special someone to find.

It took but a second for Death to appear in front of Nick, from one of the shadows in the room that she appeared to have travelled through, she was hugging his front before he even knew what was happening, "I missed you Darling." Death said as she hugged him tighter.

Nick reciprocated the hug and told her that he missed her too, right before he got down to the main reason he came to see her, "Death, I need to apologize to you, even though I already considered you something like a wife to me I haven't acted like you are that at all, I've neglected you and for that I am forever sorry... I hope you can forgive me, I will except any punishment you see fit for me." Nick told her seriously.

Death was surprised by Nick suddenly apologizing like he did and it left her thinking about what he just said, "Alright Darling, I can forgive you as long as you stick to these rules, number 1, no more girls, I can except Felicia since you were already in a relationship with her and because of the advents that led up to us being together, namely your death." Death told Nick which just left him nodding his head to her, "Absolutely, no other girls besides my two lovely lady's." Nick said making Death smile happily.

"Number 2, we do something together, just the two of us ever now and again, maybe Felicia could come as well, sometimes." Death stated, weirdly she had a blush on her cheeks.

"Okay, easily done, I'll have to start thinking of some fun things we could do together." Nick thought to himself before Death's next words brought him back to reality.

"And the last rule is that I ... I want to have a baby." She said shyly looking up at Nick's stunned face, her pale white cheeks a little rosey even though she is technical dead.

"Huh?" Nick exclaimed, confused with what he just heard seconds ago, "Just making sure but did you say that you want to have a child?" Nick said slowly.

"Mmm huh." Death hummed her reply, letting go of Nick, looking down at her stomach and running her hands across it as if she was already pregnant, "I want to raise and carry a life of my own, not just snuffing it out to keep the universe's balance. Nick, give me a baby, I know if anyone can it would be you, after all you literally have life it's self hidden away inside yourself." Death pleaded with Nick as she looked in to his eyes, wet with potential tears.

Nick stood still in contemplation but also a little fear of bring a little life of his own into the world, this was regardless of the fact that he has technical already brought life to the world, or his mind-scape, but they were all fully formed individuals, this would be a completely new life, without Nick to direct it's formation. He wouldn't lie, he was a little afraid of what Death and his child could possible be, he just had to reassure himself that it would still be his child, "Alright, let's have a baby!" Nick hugged her tightly, actually crying now as he did, Death tears too soon started to fall but for better reasons than what she was prepared for.

"What stage is the current copy at? Are we having any luck with this one?" A man with a monocle and a shaved head asked a man in a lab coat next to him.

"Not great Sir, they seem to be missing something but we can't seem figure it out." He said as he looked across a row of tanks filled with liquid and what seemed to be blue, four armed, tailed baby's, some of which appeared to be slowly deteriorating.

"I see... I might have what we need thou, Oscorp has it under lock and key thou so we'll need a way to get access... " The man thought aloud.

"What about his son? We could easily manipulate him into getting us what we want and it seemed he already has conflict with the devil, if the files are correct, we can temp him with revenge if need be." The man offered his idea.

The other man couldn't help but smile, "That's good ... I'll have our agent at the school get closer to him first, but for now keep trying with what you have before I get the super soldier serum Oscorp has." He told the man in the lab coat before he left the room excited with the future plans he would be putting in place, it always made him feel good when he got to act as the chess master, moving his pieces around the board.

"Nick~ Are you here?" Felicia called out as she entered his room, "You haven't been to school and your mom says she hasn't seen you much... Nick?" She called out again, looking all around his room, her eyes finally came upon a small parcel with a note attached to it.

She walked up to the bed and picked the parcel up, opening the note and reading aloud what it said, "Felicia, a small gift to show that I still love you... ps. you should lay down when you wear it, because it might hurt. Huh? Why would it hurt? What is it?!" She said surprised at the side note Nick left at the bottom of the note, she was happy to get a gift from Nick but that didn't mean she had forgiven him for cheating on her and having another girlfriend, even if said girlfriend was a force of nature.

Regardless of that thou she still liked that Nick had gotten her something and was curious as to what it actually was, so she put the note aside and opened up the parcel, inside it was the amulet of Bast, the very one Nick had gone to wakanda for, "It's a black panther head? It almost looks alive." She said looking at the amulets eye's, "Nick said to lay down when I put it on, so it must be a necklace." Felicia said as she hopped on to the bed, spinning in the air as she did so, landinf on her back on the bed.

She was looking over the amulet above her, pondering over if she should wear it like Nick said, and that's when the amulets eyes shined slightly and she felt almost compelled to put it on, she didn't realize just how suddenly her feelings changed and so didn't pay it anymind when she put the amulet around her neck.

Once she did the amulets eyes actually blinked and came to life, looking around the room with a glow coming from deep in the pupils, a roar also came from the mouth of the amulet, startling Felicia a little. And with the roar her consciousness slowly grew weaker until she finally blacked out to only wake up again in a completely different space, she was in a what looked like the South African wilderness, sparce greenery with some trees and in those trees there were black panthers laying about, some looked at Felicia but most didn't seem interested in her, the rest were looking at something behind her she noticed.

She turned around to look and came face to face with a gigantic panther with it's head lowered down so it was on her level, Felicia gasped at the site and took a couple steps back, 'Its even bigger then Ghost!' She thought as she looked at the panther that was also observing her closely.

"Hello, Felicia, Do you mind if I ask you some questions about your boyfriend?" The giant panther suddenly spoke, surprising her.
