Chapter 34 : Cleared up.

Third person point of view

Mingyu paid and took the cover. He waited for a few minutes but the rain wasn't stopping even though it slowed down. He checked the time and it was 9:52. He has to be in campus by 10. So he decided to just walk out. He held the cover in one hand and the umbrella in the other. He was walking a little slowly and carefully.

He noticed someone cross him, walking faster. He didn't have an umbrella and was covering his head with his hand. Mingyu found his back familiar. His eyes went wide. " Wonwoo hyung ". It was indeed him. Wonwoo stopped in his tracks and Mingyu immediately rushed to him. He covered the both of them with the umbrella.

Wonwoo was already drenched. " What is this ? Why are you like this ? " Mingyu asked looking at Wonwoo. That same look again. Wonwoo froze but not because he felt cold though. He looked away from Mingyu and answered. " I went out for something and forgot an umbrella. It suddenly started raining harder as I came near ".

Mingyu frowned. " Hold this ". He gave the coffee cups to Wonwoo. He put his hand around Wonwoo's shoulder pulling him closer. Wonwoo was shocked. " Let's just walk in quickly ". Mingyu said and started walking them both to the dorm. He held the umbrella so that Wonwoo was covered mostly and also held him close to not let him get drenched even more.

Wonwoo's heart skipped a beat. Again. He felt the warmth from Mingyu's body; from his hand on the shoulder and the body pressed on his side and back. Mingyu didn't even care that he was going to get drenched and just held Wonwoo who was already drenched. Wonwoo wanted to just run away but didn't.

At the end he could only blame it on his luck. Who would've expected to come across each other like this ? They finally walked into the building and Mingyu moved away. Wonwoo gulped. They both walked up to their rooms. They stood in the corridor. " Here ". Wonwoo gave the coffee cups to Mingyu.

Mingyu took it and gave one to Wonwoo. " For you ? " Wonwoo asked looking at the cup. " I have one ". Mingyu did bring three because he thought it was nice to have an extra. But now he gave it to Wonwoo after seeing how drenched he looked. Wonwoo nodded and took it in his hands. It was still hot and it felt nice to hold it.

" You always keep getting into problems ". Mingyu said looking at Wonwoo. " What are you talking about ? " Wonwoo asked feeling wronged. " Is this the first time I helped you ? " Mingyu asked and Wonwoo fell silent. " Just go in and take a hot shower. Make sure to dry off properly. If not you will catch a cold or worse even a fever or flu ".

Wonwoo nodded. " Good night ". Mingyu said and turned around to enter the room. " Thanks ". Mingyu stopped before opening the door when he heard Wonwoo. He turned to Wonwoo. " Thank you for this time and before too ". Wonwoo said and gave a small smile. Mingyu was dumbfounded but quickly recovered.

" Well... it is fine ". He rubbed his neck. He moved closer to Wonwoo. " Who will take care of the person I like if not myself ? " He smiled. " Be sure to keep your warm and sleep well hyung ". He walked into his room. Wonwoo looked down at the coffee in his hand. He smiled a little and walked into his room.

Jun saw him and rushed him to change quickly. Mingyu entered his room smiling. Jungkook was startled. " What is it now ? " " I just met him and cleared it up ". " Wow. How ? " Mingyu opened his mouth to explain but stopped when he realized what just happened. His smiled gradually faded. " Why ? " Jungkook was confused.

He got up and took a cup for himself. " Feels good ". He sat down with the warm cup. " What did you do again ? " Mingyu smiled awkwardly and told what just happened. Jungkook almost lost the grip he had on the cup. " I am very happy you didn't get punched TWICE and utterly shook because he even thanked you ".

Jungkook said looking at Mingyu. " So is it a nice thing or a bad thing ? " Mingyu was confused about that part. " Neutral ". Jungkook said and took a sip. Mingyu nodded. " That works too ". Mingyu said and went to get changed. He then sat down with his own coffee. They drank it and then fell asleep after a while.

The weather changed and it stopped raining by morning. It was back to normal. Mingyu was happy for that and also for another thing. Wonwoo didn't avoid him anymore. There didn't seem like there was any particular progress but at least it went back to what it was. Mingyu definitely wouldn't ask for more.
