Chapter 33 : Enlightenment.

Third person point of view

Mingyu woke up in the morning to a cold weather. It was okay the night before but he woke up to a rain in the morning. It wasn't heavy and only a drizzle, but he felt lazy in this kind of weather. He just skipped gym along with Jungkook and both of them slept longer. They woke up later and then met up with the others.

They had breakfast together and left to their own classes. The day continued to be gloomy. It stopped raining for a while, but the break didn't last long. It rained heavily for a while and then stopped or it was just drizzling again. It was unpredictable. Mingyu didn't like carrying around an umbrella but he had no choice but to use one now.

He entered the class room which felt rather cozy. Their day felt slower than usual due to the weather. He then went to the practice room with Dokyeom. They all practiced and tried playing together and this time they made lesser mistakes. It has been over 2 days now and Mingyu was sure Wonwoo was avoiding him, but he didn't know why.

He couldn't find a reason for it. He didn't even pester him that much as they had to concentrate on practicing. He sighed and resumed practicing. They were done and he went back to his room. He had a few things to write down, so he sat down with it. He then had dinner together and went back to his room. He sat down at the table playing mindlessly.

Jungkook noticed the expression on Mingyu's face. " What happened ? " " Your brother is avoiding me ". That sentence caught Jungkook's attention. " Huh ? He is ? " Mingyu nodded and rested his head on the table. " But why ? " Jungkook asked. " I don't know ". " Ah ? " Mingyu looked up at Jungkook looking like he wanted to cry.

" I really don't know ". Mingyu pouted hard. Jungkook frowned. " You didn't do anything ? " Mingyu shook his head. " Really nothing ? " Jungkook asked again and Mingyu nodded. " I don't think so. He didn't avoid you even after knowing the fact that you like him. So did really nothing happen ? " Jungkook asked.

Mingyu thought back and he didn't find anything wrong. " Think about what happened around the time when he started avoiding you and maybe you will know ". Jungkook said. Mingyu thought back and he covered his mouth in shock. Jungkook saw it. " What ? What is it ? What did you do ? " He asked hurriedly.

" I might've messed up... a little ". Mingyu showed his fingers too, showing 'a little'. " I don't have a nice feeling ". Jungkook said narrowing his eyes. Mingyu told about when he just lifted up Wonwoo and Jungkook became still like a statue. " Yah. Speak ". Mingyu asked looking scared. Jungkook then burst out laughing.

He rolled over in the bed laughing himself to tears. Mingyu pouted. " I am sorry. Really sorry ". Jungkook stopped laughing and sat up properly. He wiped the tears. " Did you really do that ? " Mingyu nodded. " Ugh. I messed up ". Mingyu looked dejected. Jungkook gulped and cleared his throat. " Did he punch you or anything ? "

Mingyu shook his head. " No. He just scolded and left ". " You are lucky, but you did mess up to an extent ". " Should I apologize ? " " I guess you should ? I wouldn't say apologize just clear it up with him ". Mingyu nodded. " Ughhh. I am stressed out ". Jungkook didn't know what to say. His brother would definitely be mad with something like that.

But if Mingyu talked it out, it will definitely be solved. " It is really fine if he didn't seem particularly that mad. So talking out should do it ". Jungkook said again and Mingyu nodded. " Fighting ". Jungkook said raising his fist and Mingyu also did. Mingyu looked out of the window. It was still drizzling outside.

" I want a coffee ". Mingyu said mindlessly. He then got up and picked up his umbrella. " You are really going ? " Jungkook asked in surprise. Mingyu nodded. " Then get me one too ". Mingyu nodded and walked out. He walked to go to the cafe nearby.

The road was deserted. Maybe because of the weather, there was no one outside. He entered the cafe and it started raining heavily. He felt lucky to come in on time but he should still go back. He wished it would go down by the time he was done. He ordered and waited.
