The Battle for the East Gate

Shawn and Sergeant Williams were both enraged when they heard the news of the rebels' successful attack on the Sword Legion and the capture of Rodriguez. Shawn slammed his fist on the table, causing the personnel there to jump in surprise.

"This is outrageous!" he exclaimed. "How the fuck did they find out about our covert operation near the North Gate?!"

Sergeant Williams shared Shawn's outrage and added, "They must have been planning this for a while. They've been watching us, waiting for the right moment to strike. And now they've taken one of our own as a hostage."

Both men were filled with a burning desire for revenge, and they knew that they needed to act quickly to ensure the safety of their comrades and the success of their mission.

"We need to plan a counter-attack," Shawn said firmly. "We cannot let them get away with this."

Sergeant Williams nodded in agreement, his face set with determination. "We'll make them regret the day they ever crossed us. Let's get to work."

The military commanders and other officers quickly gathered around the table, and the room fell silent as they began to strategize. Maps were spread out, and plans were drawn up as they discussed the best course of action.

"We'll need to infiltrate the east gate and take down their defenses from within," one commander suggested. "Then, we can blast the gate open with missiles and rush in with our units."

Another officer said, "We'll need to assign units to specific locations and ensure they have detailed information on the enemy's movements. We can't afford any missteps."

Shawn nodded, his eyes scanning the maps and plans. "We'll need to move quickly and efficiently. Time is of the essence, and we can't let the rebels gain any more ground."

"We need to divide our forces into four units. The first unit will be responsible for taking out the enemy's defenses. They will be composed of our best snipers and demolition experts. Their job is to create a gap in the enemy's defenses, so our main forces can push through."

Sergeant Williams nodded in agreement, "I suggest we assign our best explosives expert, Sergeant Ramirez to lead this unit. He knows how to use explosives and can identify the weak spots in their defenses."

Shawn nodded in approval. "Good idea, Williams. Let's make sure that Ramirez has all the support he needs."

"The second unit will be in charge of creating a diversion. They will be composed of our best sharpshooters and will be tasked with drawing the enemy's attention away from the main assault. We need to create confusion and chaos in their ranks, to make it easier for our main forces to push through," said the officer who had spoken earlier.

"I suggest we assign Captain Lee to lead this unit," suggested Sergeant Williams. "He's one of our best sharpshooters and knows how to create a diversion effectively."

Shawn nodded in agreement, "Alright, we'll assign Captain Lee to lead the second unit."

"The third unit will be our main assault force. They will be composed of our best soldiers and will be responsible for pushing through the gap that the first unit creates. They will be supported by our tanks and artillery," said Shawn.

"I suggest we assign Lieutenant Peters to lead this unit. He has experience leading assaults and is one of our best soldiers," suggested the officer who had spoken earlier.

"Alright, Peters it is. We'll make sure that he has all the support he needs," said Shawn.

"And the fourth unit?" asked Sergeant Williams.

"The fourth unit will be in charge of securing the area after the assault. They will be composed of our best engineers and will be responsible for setting up defenses to prevent any counterattacks from the rebels," said Shawn.

"I suggest we assign Lieutenant Davis to lead this unit. He has experience in setting up defenses and is one of our best engineers," said the officer who had spoken earlier.

"Very well. Davis it is," said Shawn.

"Let's ensure that each unit has all the information they need and that their communication is clear and concise. We cannot afford any mistakes," said Sergeant Williams.

The officers nodded in agreement, and they began to make detailed plans for the operation. They assigned specific locations to each unit, and they went over the plan again and again, making sure that every detail was perfect.

After 30 minutes, near the East Gate :

As the units led by the UPKF commanders marched towards the east gate, they spotted a group of soldiers in the distance. As they drew nearer, they realized that it was the Dreg legion, waiting for them as planned.

The commanders approached the Dreg legion's leaders, and Shawn introduced himself and his team. "We're here to support you in the attack on the east gate," he said. "We've planned a coordinated attack to take down their defenses and open the gate."

The Dreg legion leader nodded in acknowledgment and replied, "We're glad to have you on board. Our scouts have reported the enemy's movements, and we're ready to move forward."

Sergeant Ramirez gathered his team of snipers to brief them on their mission. They huddled together in a nearby abandoned building, out of sight of the enemy.

"All right, listen up," Ramirez began. "We're going to be taking out key targets in the enemy's defense line. Our snipers will be positioned on the rooftops of these buildings," he said, pointing to a map on the wall.

He continued, "From there, you'll have a clear view of the enemy's movements. Your job is to take out as many targets as possible and weaken their defenses."

The snipers nodded in understanding and began to pack their gear. Ramirez walked over to each one of them, giving them specific instructions on where to set up and which targets to prioritize.

"Remember, we have to make every shot count. We don't have a lot of time before the main forces move in. Stay focused and stay sharp," Ramirez reminded his team.

Sergeant Ramirez signaled to his snipers to take their positions. He had already scouted the area and identified the perfect spots for them to take cover and take out the enemy forces. As they moved into position, he checked their communication devices to ensure they could relay information effectively.

Once everyone was in place, Ramirez counted down, "Three, two, one, fire!" The snipers opened fire, their silenced rifles taking out the enemy forces one by one. They had been trained to shoot quickly and accurately, and they did not disappoint.

As the snipers fired, the sound of their rifles was barely audible, and the rebels were caught off guard. The first shot hit a rebel soldier who was standing guard at the gate, causing him to fall to the ground, dead before he even realized what had happened.

The snipers shifted their focus to other targets, taking aim at the rebels who were rushing to the scene. They aimed for the head and chest, their bullets hitting with deadly precision. One sniper took out a rebel who was attempting to fire a rocket launcher at the approaching forces. Another sniper hit a rebel who was running towards the east gate with a grenade in hand, causing the grenade to explode in mid-air and taking out several other rebels in the blast radius.

As the rebels fell to the ground, their bodies lifeless, the snipers laughed mockingly at the enemy's incompetence. "These rebels are nothing but fools," one of the snipers exclaimed. "They never stood a chance against us."

Another sniper chimed in, "Looks like they need to go back to basic training. Maybe they'll learn how to properly defend themselves next time."

Ramirez, who was listening in on their conversation, chimed in, "Don't get too cocky, boys. We still have a job to do. Let's stay focused and keep taking out their defenses."

As Ramirez's snipers continued to take out the enemy forces, the second unit sprang into action. They moved in a well-coordinated manner, their movements quick and precise.

Captain Lee led the second unit, sprinting towards the enemy while shouting out commands to his team. "Alright team, let's move out! Take positions at the marked coordinates and wait for my signal to start firing."

Captain Lee yelled, "Move out! We need to create a diversion, draw their fire, and keep their attention on us! Squad A, take the left flank and provide cover fire for Squad B as they advance! Squad B, move to the right and take up a position on the rooftop. We need you to provide overwatch for the rest of us and take out any hostiles that try to flank us. Squad C, take the main road and advance straight ahead, make sure to keep the enemy's attention on you. We'll be right behind you. And Squad D, you're with me, we're going to take the fight to them."

The sharpshooters of the second unit followed Captain Lee, their hearts pounding with adrenaline. Some of them exchanged nervous glances, unsure if they could handle the pressure of the situation. But Captain Lee's voice boomed out, "Stay focused! We're the diversion force! We need to keep their attention off the main assault! You've trained for this! Let's show them what we're made of!"

The unit took up positions at the marked coordinates, keeping their eyes trained on the enemy. They had been briefed on the rebel positions, and they knew what to expect. Suddenly, the rebels spotted them and opened fire, sending bullets whizzing past their heads.

One soldier, Private Johnson, tried to take cover behind a wall, but a bullet pierced through the wall and struck him in the chest. He fell to the ground, gasping for breath, and Captain Lee rushed over to him. "Hang in there, Johnson! We'll get you out of here!"

But it was too late. Private Johnson's eyes slowly closed, and he let out a final breath. Captain Lee's eyes hardened as he saw the life drain out of the young soldier. He turned to the rest of the unit, "Johnson is gone, but we can't let his sacrifice be in vain! Keep firing, and keep their attention on us!"

The sharpshooters continued to rain bullets down on the enemy, effectively drawing their attention away from the main assault. Some of them laughed and taunted the rebels, "Is that all you've got? Come on, show us what you're made of!" They reveled in the thrill of the battle, adrenaline pumping through their veins.

Lieutenant Peters led the third unit, the main assault force. This unit was composed of our strongest and most experienced soldiers. They would be responsible for pushing through the gap created by the first unit and engaging in direct combat with the enemy.

As they approached the east gate, Peters shouted orders to his troops, "Bravo squad, take up positions behind those sandbags! Delta squad, follow me to the left flank! Charlie squad, advance on the right!"

The rebels were ready for them, and a barrage of gunfire erupted from the east gate. Peters and his troops took cover behind whatever they could find and returned fire. The battle was intense, and several soldiers on both sides were hit. Peters kept a calm head, directing his troops and making sure they stayed focused on the mission.

But they were not alone in this fight. In the distance, the sound of tanks and artillery could be heard.

Lieutenant Peters checked his radio, "This is Lieutenant Peters, do we have support?"

A voice crackled over the radio, "Affirmative, Lieutenant. We have tanks and artillery en route to your location. ETA 2 minutes."

Peters breathed a sigh of relief. The tanks and artillery would make a huge difference in this fight.

As the tanks arrived on the scene, the rebels looked on in awe. They had never seen such advanced weaponry before. The tanks were equipped with the latest in armor and weapons technology, making them nearly invulnerable to the rebel's attacks.

The artillery, too, was a sight to behold. The massive cannons fired rounds that exploded on impact, decimating entire sections of the rebel forces.

As the tanks and artillery moved forward, the third unit followed closely behind, taking advantage of the cover they provided.

Peters radioed his men, "Stay close to the tanks and artillery. Use them as cover and take out any rebels that try to attack them."

The third unit moved forward, using the tanks and artillery as cover. The rebels, caught off guard by the advanced technology, were quickly overwhelmed.

As the battle raged on, a stray bullet found its mark, hitting one of the tank's fuel lines. The tank exploded, sending shrapnel and fire in all directions.

Peters watched in horror as several of his men were caught in the blast. He radioed for a medic, but it was too late. They had been killed instantly.

But there was no time to mourn. The battle still raged on, and the third unit pushed forward, determined to secure the east gate.

The rebels were starting to falter, and Peters saw his chance. "All units, advance towards the east gate! We can take them!" he yelled. They charged forward, grenades exploding all around them as they pushed through the remaining rebel resistance.

As Peters and his unit charged towards the east gate, a rebel group leader, standing on a nearby rooftop, watched their movements with a cold, calculating gaze. "Oh really?" he muttered to himself, before turning to his comrades and shouting, "Don't let them fool you, brothers! Keep fighting! Show these imperial dogs what we're made of!"

As the rebels shouted in defiance, Peters heard the unmistakable sound of a large force moving in from the side. "Shit, they've outflanked us!" he yelled to his men. "Get into cover and return fire!"

"You can return fire in your dreams bud, Chick Chick Bang!"...

I seriously have huge respect for the military bruh. They literally come out with orders on the battlefield and I here am not able to write a proper one. Seriously hats of mates.
