Chapter 32

Amy considered again, "the only question I've been asking is who I am?" As soon as she was done, another door was opened with a dim light. Shelves full of papyrus papers surrounded the room.  She stood at the doorway; Piccha on her left side, the little creature seemed to be really rejoicing this time. She smiled and gestured around her, enhancing her to move forward.

"The room of birth."Amy turned to find the gentle beside her. "Amy, here we have the generations of all and everyone living on bewix. Here you'll find the answer to your questions. Go at the middle take a silver and a golden coin from each of the plate of the fountain, and turn around, facing that picture there." He gestured to one big portrait, divided into two. One had pictures of angels and bluish sky and the other half, had pictures of damn. Red color filled with pain and anguish. "The portrait of birth; when ones soul is send on earth, he is either deported from hell or heaven. To restart his life circle. And this portrait is the one that would answer any question. Any truth, any reality. This is it. When you'll throw your coin into that fountain, you need to wish for your question really with a true intention. Only then hell and heaven would be able to answer your question." He backed off.

Amy walked next to it, and did what had to be done. Piccha, went with her; as soon as she threw the coin into the pond. Time seemed to have halted;every air she breathes was heavier and filled with illusions. A thin silvery barrier surrounded her. She waited and find a piece of yellowish brown, paper flew all across the way to her. It was a papyrus paper.  It stuck on the silvery wall and opened slowly. Small encryption written in black ink, and golden shimmer on the ornate calligraphy letters. It was a family tree. Her family tree.

"Now we wait." Jon suggested once Simon, explained to them, about what he learned about the history of Bewix.

"Waiting is not the answer." Simon declined. "We could try something that would help us."

"Maybe we could try to use a bonding spell to break down the wall of ice." Yiana added. They walked across the bridge. On their way to the castle.

"Princess Yiana, do you think that it is such a petty work. If it were that easy, don't you think the council would have already done it." Mark pointed out.

"So we wait."

"No, we would try our way inside that castle."

"Prince Simon, you heard what Vacova said, we can't interfere unless the chosen one appeared." Jon insisted.

"We should find a loop point in all these." He advised.

"I dare say that in all of these we might find a loop point at all; if that were the case, don't you think that we would have already found it."Mark assumed.

"The best choice is to wait." Jon said again.

"She never said we shouldn't try." Simon persisted.

"Good argument sir." Mark agreed.  "We do understand that being a royal blood, you would be determined to solve that mystery to save your kingdom, but we can't find a loop point."

Simon waved his hand and took their nosy talks for birds. "I was wondering that if my father was given permission to the land, because he helped the Ngami kingdom. Then maybe, being his son…"

"Maybe, you'll get access as well." Yiana completed. "And that's the loop point!"

"Huh…What do you know, this could work." Mark nodded.

"What is it my friend jealous that someone more intelligent than you?" Jon smiled at his faded expression.

"No." He denied. "Sometime on a rare occasion, we should listen to others as well. That is how we learn to be the most intelligent one."

"Nice back up on the words." Yiana smiled.

"I'm afraid that it is no hocus pocus am playing with you princess." Mark admitted. "Maybe I'm a little wept out that I couldn't come with such an idea."

"So you are jealous." Yiana confirmed.

He opened his mouth to speak but closed it again. Then he sighed and nodded desperately. "Maybe I'm a little jealous."

"Just a little bit? Are you sure that….." Jon asked but never finished as the latter threw him a sharp glance. "Just a little bit, it is." He prompted.  His eyes still fixed on the latter, he grinned and agreed that they should do what Simon proposed.

"What happened?" They felt dizziness on their mind. Jack coughed and finally got up his feet and gestured his neck, as it made a cracked noise, he shrugged. "Is everyone all right?" he asked.

"No not ok." Ian disagreed. "I almost died three times in one day."

"It's two. One time when we traveled through the portal and the second is now." Alex reminded.

"Yes, but the third is the moment I've met Delia." He winked at the latter.

"That old line! I could gag."  She shook her head and sighed

. "How did we got out?" Alex stood up and casted another look at the cloudy sky looming on the top of the village. "I think even god is ready to help us. Thanks Delia."

"I should add that this is one advantage of having an angel with us, no one can resist one, not even god." Ian taunted. "Except for my good friend I guess." He grinned at the latter.

"Now?"

"We keep moving on, I guess." Jack suggested as Jamie stood on the left side, staring at the path ahead. Jamie knew where this was taking him. Home.

As they walked towards the wall, cold feelings ran down their spines. They were not supposed to be there. Yiana, finally took his arms, without getting taunted back. Her hairs were tied up in knot and her small faded face, pale and still vulnerable she knew she could really stay by his side like that for all eternity. Again that was another fact that she could hold on forever till her last breath. But this time, it was certain that it would happen. Because this time she had the Edam spell to assure her.
