Best "Girl" Friends

It’s been a while since I came for a visit to Italy. I can still remember that rainy day when I met her. It’s started out with a little conversation, what was that we talked about…uh!. Oh yes, about our stay in Italy. Rain is pouring but my heart was beating faster than the droplets of water that was making her blouse wet and her black colored bra sticking out, literally sticking-out with her breasts seen because her top’s unbuttoned its upper three buttons. She didn’t care for she laughed with my lame jokes about the rain, the people we met while we were walking. I can’t remember where we we're headed but I just knew that she was the girl for me. I am a woman, born and raised in Italy until I reached 15 years old. I needed to go to a dormitory in the states and graduated at Harvard....yet, meeting Leila is different...she is different, wild, sweet, beautiful, crazy but sensitive. I am such a quiet person and so lucky to have her as a friend, but are we just friends or something more. I hated her guts, but the way she talks, smells and moves make me insane....

Sasa on being in love 2

Babe, I'm sor....Alex said and was about to apologize when I stopped her with my finger and held her chin closer to me and kissed her lips softly. I know and I understand. I love you and I should've know better. I know too about your drinking issues, but I'm here to help you. We'll help each other go through this sh*t and you'll be well in no time. Mwah!, Kat explained and I cried after hearing her say that.

Thank you and I love you!, I said without anything more to say but the feeling of gratitude knowing my baby and having her in my life.

Kat researched for the best alcoholic rehabilitation facilities in California and we found the best one in town. I sought for help and they were so glad to accept an artist like me. They know me and they watched my concerts a lot in the past. I served there for a year and been sober for three years now. I still attend their meetings and seminars for more information on domestic violence not only of how to solve my drinking problems but the hate I carried all my life against my true parents for leaving me alone and abandoning me in an orphanage. Kat and I decided to postpone our wedding not until I recovered and I already did by her undying support and love, I was able to get through the ups and downs of my hangovers. The times when she would pick me up on the gutter since I got drunk from after a gig even if I already followed an alcohol protocol or rules. Kat was so patient that now that I'm alcohol free for three painstaking years I still fight to control my urges and the falling back when times get tough or confusing, or depressing.

I always turn to Kat and when I feel weak and wanted to drink she always kisses me until I can't breathe anymore, for she said that I should always remember that without love and breathe we will die. But if I don't get a drink or a sip of alcohol it wouldn't hurt or kill me if won't fall for it or its temptations and consume it. The hurt is there but it wouldn't last long but when I start drinking again there I would suffer a long term addiction and that would certainly kill me and others if I get reckless like in driving while drinking. I thought about it and it stuck to me that it's okay to be happy without a drink and all because my only happiness is my lovely fiancée, Kat. And she is all I want in my life, nothing or no one else can make me feel complete but her and only her.

Chapter 9

Terry went home along with Havana and Saint. They all have different lives and different backgrounds to come home to. Terry is married and is the oldest member of the band that got married in his teens. He has two angels, Casey who is two and Carry who is turning 11 this year. His wife KC was carrying Carry when he was touring with the band, Alex wasn't their lead singer then but an old chap he called Mooner, since the guy always sort of like moan every time he hits the high notes. But since he had voice injuries he needed to resign and Terry got a hold of Alex when he accidentally bought a burger at a nearby mini burger shop where she worked and got to listen when she was singing "Nothing Else Matters" in a very husky rocker ass voice while flipping the burgers he ordered. Terry asked Sam to sign her up the next day and did some audition gigs which she won over through all of them. Alex got the part as our lead singer and second lead guitar for the Moonies. Havana is the religious Buddhist member of the band who just got out of the temple when she was found unsuitable for the congregation since spends all her time writing songs and playing instruments while praying before Buddha. She is still single and been inside the cloister for almost five years.
