The Monster

At Stark Expo:

Ben was sitting in the VIP seats waiting for Stark to arrive along with other guests and the audience. Then everyone started shouting. Ben looked up and saw Ironman falling from above, then land with style, and music started with girls dancing, wearing Ironman costumes. Machines start dismantling the armor and then Tony Stark came out of the suit and started the Stark Expo.

After that, Ben went home and slept after watching an episode of 'Friends'.

In these two years, the government has been trying to pressurize stark to hand over the Ironman weapon to the government, but Stark refused. He stated it was his property and that he is the Ironman. The government has also been trying to develop their own version of such armors by giving contracts to rival companies like 'Hammer Industries', but their attempts had failed. And stark announced Pepper Potts as the new CEO of Stark Industries.

Ben was watching TV in his apartment switching from serials to movies to the news. Suddenly he found something interesting.

"The army intercepted the green monster called 'the Hulk' near Culver University"

"Standoff between the Hulk and the army near Culver University"

Ben: The Hulk. This world got a monster. And seriously, they think the army can stop it. Hmm looks like finally, I'll have a big boss battle. But where will I find him?

He searches on the internet about the Hulk. He couldn't find much other than the recent standoff, but he was able to find out about an incident that took place 5 years ago at Culver University.

Ben: General Thunderbolt Ross met with the famous scientist Bruce Banner along with some other scientists to work on a secret project, but that project went wrong and Dr. Banner was turned into a green monster. Dr banner went rogue after that. Hmm. So the Hulk is a failed lab experiment. Maybe I can help him. Otherwise, he will cause enough damage, or the army might kill him. I need to find out more about this and find him. Maybe the military may know about it.

The next day he became Ghostfreak and infiltrated the military base undetected. Then as Greymatter, he hacked into the servers and searched for Hulk and Dr. Banner.

Ben: General Thunderbolt Ross met with Bruce Banner and some other scientists to recreate the super soldier experiment used in world war II to make Captain America. Dr. Banner thought that gamma radiation is the key to unlocking the formula for evolution required for the experiment. But the experiment went wrong and Dr. Banner got exposed to high amounts of gamma radiation. Which resulted in him transforming into the Hulk. But the transformation is not permanent as Dr. Banner turned back to human later when he came to visit the general, but he can turn back again if his blood pressure rises. Dr. Banner was Marked as a fugitive and was chased by the military for 5 years because they want to weaponize the Hulk. So he is good. He was hiding all these years trying to avoid any incidents, but the military wants to weaponize Hulk, so they are trying to catch him, and because of that only he recently turned into the Hulk. I'll have to help him. He is innocent. I'll have to track him before the military does.

He returned home thinking about how to help him. Tony Stark wasn't in the country as he was gone for some work. So Ben can't use his help.

Ben: Wait. I can use the Omnitrix. I was able to cure the Highbreed back then. Maybe I can cure him too. If that feature is still working though. Don't know how much of the Omnitrix is damaged. But how do I find him? I can't even contact Shield on my own. Even if I did, what if they also try to weaponize him? But I won't stop. I'll keep looking for him.

Ben tries to search the city for Banner but he is unable to find him.

Ben: Of course, the army was not able to find him for 5 years, how will I find him?

As XLR8+Ghostfreak he searched the ground and as Jetray+Ghostfreak he searched from the sky, but he is not able to find him.

He tries to find him the next day also but still fails.

At night when he was in Massachusetts he saw the news on a TV in a local store.

"The Hulk is wreaking havoc in Harlem. While the military is trying to stop him..."

Ben: That's it. It's hero time.
