Old Wang's Problem

The next day...

Zhou Lin is spending the time cooking his meals once more. Though he has a bright expression on his face while doing so.

'With the Small World that I own, I won't have to buy my ingredients anymore!' He thought to himself.

As the Small World is controlled by him, he can create anything he can think of. Though it is only limited to things that are normal and are not sapient creatures. This is why he can only make plants and fruits within that Small World.

Still, it is a great boon, as he has nothing to think about anymore. He only needs to hunt for Demon Beasts meat, and then everything will be ready.

Hunting Demon Beasts meat has become a casual chore for him. He only hunts the weaker beasts who are Earth Realm at at best, and is avoiding beasts that are stronger than that. Sometimes, he goes for the Nature Realm Demon Beasts so he can eat it himself.

He only targets the usual Demon Beasts there too. Mountain Boar, Golden Bee, Jade Snake, and Feral Wolves. Those are his usual hunts. He ignores anything else, as he was used to hunting these Demon Beasts and prepping for them.

He thinks he is fine with this routine. He is not adventurous, and doesn't have the heart to be reckless, so he will stay like this.

'After my work here, I'll go back to that Small World and find out more about it!' He thought, already planning for it and feeling giddy at the thought.

He wanted to explore more of the Small World. He has noticed that the total expanse of that Small World easily reaches a million miles. That's very large, compared to the former size of that desolate land which is just a thousand miles.

While thinking like that, he glances at his regular customers. Old Wang, Bai Luo, and the others are laughing together while they wait for their order.

He can sense the improvements from their body. The atmosphere from their postures are so profound now, unlike in the past where they are always slumped and looks so poor. Now their backs are straight, and they emanate a confidence on their eyes.

It is thanks to his Qi Manipulation books. With those books, the lives of these people has changed completely. Even Old Wang who looks so old on this past week now looks very energetic and youthful. His whitening hairs are becoming lesser and there are hints of black in his hair, showing that vitality is coming back to his aging body.

"Oh, these are just done." He muttered, his senses easily noticing that the meals he is cooking for them have been cooked.

After arranging them neatly, he quickly goes to their table and presented the arrays of meals from them.

"As expected, Senior Brother Lin is so godly! I hope I get your skills too!" Bai Luo said as he looks at the roasted pork, his drool can't be hidden at all.

"You flatter me. I'm just cooking normally!" It's a casual brag, but they know he is just joking around with them.

"Enough nonsense. Let's eat now." Old Wang told the others, and then they begin eating.

While their eating, Zhou Lin is just going to return to the kitchen when Old Wang stops him.

"What is it?" He asks.

"Wait... can we talk on the back?"

He notices that Old Wang seems to be a bit sheepish today, which is unusual because he usually exudes a wizened aura. He wonders why he seems like he is becoming fidgety.

"Of course." He easily accepts and the two of them goes to the back. "So what is it?"

"It's like this..." Old Wang begins explaining.

Wang De's daughter, Wang Shinyu, was fired from her job recently. She seems to be working on a high class restaurant called Jade Immortal Pavilion. She seems to have offended one of the high class guest there because she made a mistake, and their orders fell to the floor.

They didn't even give her a face, and the pavilion demanded to repay for the damages she incurs. Even that high class personage arrogantly demanded that no shop should hire her, or else their family will come for them.

It's been repeated a few times, but he already swore to himself that he won't let others break his daily life. His daily life includes his friends being actually happy. Seeing them in trouble, of course he will also feel troubled!

This is also Old Wang, the one who accepted him despite being a nobody. Why would he turn around if he hears that his daughter is being suppressed by someone?

Now that he has the power, of course he will be daring!

Being low profile is just a prerequisite for him to stay with his peaceful life. That doesn't mean he won't be daring when someone tries to mess with him.
