Chapter 13

Alex opened his eyes. He saw beautiful sky. There were so much stars. The sky was clean not even a single cloud. Then he felt extreme pain

"Gha... W-where am I? Gha..." Said Alex very silence

"So you're awake. That's good" said Alice

Alice's head was right above Alex's. Her face was dark but he could still see that it was her

"A-Alice? Gha... Where am I?"

"You are in our garden behind the house... We wanted to take you to the Pokémon centre but John said that we shouldn't... He used very good argument... Heh... How are you feeling?" She said with smile

"Well... I would lie if I would say that I'm fine. Gha... Why are we in the garden?"

She layed down next to Alex and said

"Do you remember what did you said on your first night here?"

He fell in deep thought. But unfortunately he couldn't remember... He could only remember that he was with them sitting next to the campfire... but nothing else

"No... I don't... Gha..."

"You said this: 'The sky is so clean... And it's beautiful... All of those stars... I really like them. They make me feel relaxed.' So I wanted to make you feel better... Does it work?"

Now he remembers everything what happened in that night. It was his first night. First relaxed night

"Yes... Thank you Alice"

"You know what? When I look at them without fear of getting attacked it really makes me relaxed"

They were laying like this and watching the sky. It was really beautiful. Cyan sky with lots of stars. And big white moon and smaller red next to him. As they were watching someone approached and said

"Captain. What are you two doing?"

"Oh... Hey there Bob. We are watching stars. Wanna join?"

Bob said nothing. He just sat next to Alex and looked at the sky

"Man... This is... Beautiful. Why haven't we seen this before?" Said Bob

"Don't ask me. Gha... We humans always looked in the skies. Gha... Huf... Huf... Huf... Always wanted to know what is there. Gha... Now we can even fly up there... But we still can only travel to the moon. Stars have. Gha... Something that inspire all of us... Even when you think that your life means nothing. That you have no purpose. Gha... When you look at the stars you will find hope..."

"Hope, huh? Maybe that's right. They have mysterious power of calming. Something that you sometimes need to live" said Alice

"Are you humans really can travel to the moon?" Said John

"Oh! John! Where were you?" Said Bob

"I was trying to sleep but I couldn't... What are you guys doing here?"

"We are watching the stars wanna join?" Said Bob

"Sure"

When John sat next to Alice everyone was looking at the stars. They were watching them for a long time in silence

"I want to ask you something guys" said Alex

"What is it Alex?" Said John

"Why are you guys so kind to me? I mean you could just leave me for myself. Why?"

"Because I feel responsible for you Alex. That's why. If I would leave you and something happened to you... I just... Don't know if I could forgive myself you know?" Said Alice

Alex smiled and said

"Thank you... You are the first person that said something like this to me... Of course except my family"

She said nothing. Then Alex felt something. Like they were watching by someone. Someone that he knows

"Can I join?" Said this person

"Heh... I didn't expect you to come here... Mew..." Said Alex
