In the last 6 years Sammael have slow down a little, but what normal people consider slow is not the same as he consider it.

Sam don't need eat, to sleep, to breathe, he can fonction at full capacity without rest or pause. His siphoning ability is so strong that he constantly keep him in his peak state.

The amount of work he can furnish is shocking. Almost like a machine, he is most of the time doing something productive and in the most efficient way possible.

But these previous years he granted himself time to explore things he didn't before. After discovering the existence of Arcadius, Sammael made his research to see if there was others hidden truths in legend, in religions...

Unfortunately all he got is the confirmation that entirety of these legends were exaggerated version of reality. Angels revealed themselves to only be extinct monsters. The same for demons. Fossils confirm his suspicion.

He have also taken the time to research a dozen of augmented individuals.

He also make sure the Deorum de Terra have the control to direct humanity in one direction or another. But years after years it become more hard and dangerous. The risk of exposure since the project: Genesis have increased.

Soon the Deorum de Terra will have to face their existence being revealed or they'll have to go they separate way and keep the contact to the minimum.

A minority of people start to suspect the implication of this secret society a group of hackers exposed. Fortunately the internet video is now extremely hard to find, nearly impossible.

Sammael as finally find a use to the data he collected from Hope and Klaus DNA. Due to their nature of tribrid and hybrid, he found a way to combine multiple DNA in one, his best achievement is the combination of several monsters and supernatural genetics into something completely unique and different.

The result however is a virus. A virus capable of absorbing mass and transform it into a strange kind of biomass that can take many form.

The virus assimilate and evolve when it absorb organic matter. To stabilize this virus he had to use the black goo coming from Malivore.

He didn't try to release it or absorb it in himself, the danger this virus show is not something to be underestimated. He made a test to see the reaction of the virus on himself and sadly his DNA is too complex for the virus. When his blood came in contact with the virus, it annihilated the virus in milliseconds.

The virus is still not powerful enough for him to use on himself.

But the advantages are numerous, an enormous boost of physical strength, the capacity to change his appearance at will, the ability to absorb DNA and genetics information and fuse them with himself obtaining the best of the absorb beings and disgarding the weaknesses.

The perfect way to evolve continously.

But first Sammael have to nourish this virus with hundreds of DNA until it have the power to be incorporate in himself.

But he didn't do just that, he again go back to work on his device. More than 4 decades and he still haven't finished it. It's probably the most complicated thing he ever build.

In these 6 years he also learn that he missed something, a cure for vampirism. The legend surrounding Qetsiyah and the cure she made for Silas was true.

When he heard that a felt small regret, he didn't had the time to experiment on Silas. And the cure could have been interesting to study. Apparently the cure dissappear when Katherine was forced to take it and was killed by Silas when he drank her blood.

When he finally had to time to go investigate Qetsiyah and Silas had already been killed by Stefan, Damon, Elena, Bonnie and the rest of the Mystic Falls gang.

Speaking of Stefan, he derailed when Damon was accidentally killed by Elena, when he discover that all that remain of Elena was dry blood on walls, he shut down his humanity and go on a killing spree.

This case will with no doubt make a good argument for the peoples and politicians against the vampires.

One year later Stefan was catched, his trial was very mediatized and one of the most important one. His siphoning ability have evolved after the two ritual he made to boost. Every type of energies can now be absorb by him.

If he was to unleash his full power every life form on the planet will feel it and be terribly oppressed by it. Some of the weaker ones will die instantly because of the potency of his power.

He is the strongest being that have ever existed, past and present.

His magic is to the untrained eye like reality manipulation. Thinking about the effect he want is enough to affect reality. Of course there is limits. When he seized control of hell he was forced verbally cast the spell.

His body is indestructible, a black could potentially shred is body but if only one atom still exists his body will reconstruct.

His spirit, mind or soul whatever name you give it, is also truly immortal. Nothing can ever destroy it or damage it.

In the impossible eventuality his body where to be destroyed to the last atoms, his mind will still be intact and only time will be needed to reconstruct a body similar in every way to his original one.

On a completely different subject, in the 6 previous years, positive changed also appear. An education reform was adopted, the purpose, to teach to the young how to master and be responsible with their powers. Math, History, English are still teached but a new class is now adopted in all of the school. Metaphysics is the name the educational corps chose, the youngest you learn to master your power the less you are susceptible to cause an incident.

A child born with parents having different power like one with Telekinesis and the other with Telepathy are generally developing two powers. But if the parents have same power then the child power will be more potent and powerful.

Putting back the virus into its container Sammael make sure to seal it. He note his latest observations, the virus have difficulty in consuming vegetable matter, the virus when it try to absorb vegetables like plants take much longer than to absorb other organic matter, but insects and animals are absorbed without a problem, human seem to be its favorable matter to absorb.

But the advantages present in the plants DNS is a true treasures trove, the plants have evolve to become a formidable survivor species, plant have developed ability like photosynthesis, ultra resistant immune system. So despise the slow rate of absorbtion Sammael still gave vegetables life form to the virus.

A pure marvel and the key to advance, the blacklight virus as Sam called it will have an impact equal or higher than his previous rituals.

Sam test which part is absorb the fastest and strangely the brain is always the first to be absorb, be it insect brains, animals brains or human brains.

Why ? He ignore it for now but without a doubt the brain is the favorite mass to absorb for the virus.

" Do you miss your master so much ? " Sam respond without getting affected by her voice.

" Master ? I think jailor is more fitting. " She answer.

" Did you come here to express your gratitude Sybil ? " Sammael say to the mermaid.

" If I remember correctly you used me to bait him to you. Should I be grateful to have been manipulated. " Sybil whisper to his ear.

" You gained your freedom wasn't it what you wanted ? Sparing you was simply courtesy. " Sam tell to Sybil watching her face briefly.

" Was it ? Or did my beauty tempt you enough to let me live. " She playfully taunt him her mouth dangerously close to his face.

" You are one of the two specimen of mermaid existing. This uniqueness make you much more tempting than your appearance. " Sam say to her, grabbing her waist and pushing her against the balcony barrier.

" You do have a way with words, how much death this silver tongue caused. " She respond pushing herself against him.

" Let go, just one time, after that I'll disappear from your life. I desire you and you don't seem insensible to my charm. " she continue to try to seduce him.

Sammael observe her, an unreadable look on his eyes. One push and she'll make a fall from several meters to the ground. But before he can make his decision, she kiss him and drag him inside.

New Orleans.

If there is one city that adapt to the surge of augmented individuals its the New Orleans, walking on bourbon street Sammael see witches, vampires, werewolves having fun together, augmented individuals with Pyrokinesi play with fire other with Telekinesis make spectacular show. Vampires use their speed openly. And all of this in broad day light.

Musiciens make the background sounds, New Orleans truly live up to its reputation. If Mystic Falls is the craddle of the supernatural then the New Orleans is the home of the supernatural.

But beneath the surface, a dark atmosphere is there. Like a looming threat waiting for the right moment to reveal itself. Only someone very talented in magic can feel it, for someone like Sam it's like a beacon.

Sammael enter the compound and wait for his siblings to arrive. While he admire the decorations Hayley Marshall and a young enter the compound.

" Who are you ? " Hayley ask agressivly and adopting a defensive posture in front of the young girl.

The girl watch Sammael with curious eyes.

" Sammael, and you must be Hayley, and you little one Hope. " Sam answer to the question.

A look of recognition appear on Hayley face but she doesn't change her posture. The tension is broke by Elijah. He walk toward Hayley.

" It's okay Hayley, I called him and asked him to come. " Elijah reassure her.

" Thank you for coming brother. This is our niece Hope Mikaelson and her mother Hayley Marshall. Can I offer you a drink ? " he offer.

" No thank you. It's nice to meet you Hope, you too Hayley. ". Sammael answer.
