"Did you know how worried I was?"
Wyen froze.
And that's when she know it.
She shouldn't be here.
She shouldn't have come this far by foot.
She shouldn't have heard him say that.
That he's so worried about her.
"What do you want, Jungkook? I already told you to not wait for me."
That he waited hours for her.
"How could I not? You literally left me with no answer!"
Wyen's hands trembled and her body moved on its own.
Stepping back, she immediately walked into the bedroom.
Her trembling fingers raising to touch her lips, Wyen slowly closed the door before making sure she didn't close it till the end.
"Answers? I don't have to give answers to anyone."
Pushing Jungkook off her, Dae-ni walked into the living room from the door.
Jungkook followed behind.
"Did you know how many miles I ran just to know that you're safe!?"
Jungkook exclaimed within his voice lowering.
"What do you even want now? Let me go-"
"Dae-ni I fxcking can't accept this."
Wyen's shoulders quivered.
She didn't know if she should feel hopeful or hopeless at the moment.
"Can't accept what? That I worked for weeks just to create that scene for our project to take off!?"
"Take off!? You're telling her to get forced in front of cameras for the project to take off!?"
Jungkook yelled in disbelief and Dae-ni flinched.
Jungkook's face stretched off from the frown and he watched her immediately sob.
The sudden break out of her tears had his body freeze like a stone before he reached over.
Hands dropping on her arms, he gently tugged her closer but Dae-ni hit his chest.
"Go away! You never understood me-!"
"Dae-ni, please don't do this! Please..."
Jungkook's muscles tensed up the minute he felt her push him off.
His eyes softening as his eyes fell upon the photo frame behind Dae-ni who leaned against the table, Jungkook's heartbeat picked up.
"Dae-ni!"
His hands took a hold of her stained cheeks.
His eyes softly gazing into hers, his body seemed to weaken.
"I-I can't... Please.. She's.."
Wyen's back leaned forward.
Hearing his soft sniffles which only meant one thing, Wyen's eyes weakened and her body moved on it's own.
"S-She is.. She'll not be okay."
Taking a grip of the knob of the bedroom, she was about to open the door when she heard it.
Him saying something that left her Freeze like a stone that was about to break into half.
"You already know that she suffered it once as a kid."
Her heart shattered into pieces within the warm tears staining her cheeks in an instant.
Dae-ni couldn't help but find herself guilty.
Biting her inner cheek, Dae-ni held back the feeling of guilt before looking back at him.
Wyen's feet took a step back and when she felt her trembling hands get off the knob, herself fell on her knees.
Secrets...
Wyen never held any secrets before him.
She built the trust over him all these years that only broke her in return.
Expectations.
Her expectations of him being something that he isn't in real life had her cry.
Broken.
The promises.. and the secrets..
"So what?"
Dae-ni's words made him look at her in disbelief.
"Don't you understand? She's m*les*ed when she's 10!"
Closing her ears, Wyen felt her body burn.
Burn in such disgust she never felt in so many years.
Even the feeling of the clothes touching her skin had her want to rip off her skin.
Wyen couldn't sob.
Not a sound left her lips.
And the tears continued to flow down her cheeks.
Eyes and ears tightly closed, she could still see it.
Hear it.
Feel it.
"She's not over that. She still couldn't even let me touch her!"
Dae-ni grinned wide while Jungkook hopelessly tried to explain her.
But behind the explanations, Jungkook wasn't aware of how much of a big mistake he had done.
He had broken a lot of promises but he doesn't know that one of the very broken promises is that one promise that cannot be lesser than the end of it.
End of the relationship.
End of the bond.
End of the love.
And that very broken promise can never be repaired.
"Isn't that why you came to me?"
Wyen's body laid there.
With nothing in her body being able to move at the moment, Wyen's lips parted and she heard it.
And her sobs were quite.
Legs trying to move up, she felt her body weaken more.
And that's when she drifted off.
Fast into the deep sleep she didn't know she needed.
And the blood spread over the glove she wore on her palm.
Spreading off onto the floor while Wyen's eyes stretched into a resting position, her body sank on the cold floor she laid.
"Dae-ni, no-"
Her arms wrapping around his shoulders, she pulled him closer.
"It's okay, dummie, I understand!"
Dae-ni eyed his face as Jungkook looked back into her eyes.
"I'm doing this for her."
She said before grinning wide.
"She should face it so she can move on!"
Jungkook froze.
Eyes averting away, he couldn't decide by himself and when he looked back at Dae-ni, the strange feeling of guilt took over him.
He felt her soft lips on his, he kissed back.
A small smile, Dae-ni deepened the kiss.
Jungkook wrapped his arms around her.
Head tilting aside, Jungkook opened his eyes and that's when he spotted it.
The photo frame.
And the first words he caught in those were...only the only three written at the edge of it.
Bright... bold, the font was perfectly chosen to suit the background.
And those are—
She said Yes!
A blink away, he looked back at again.
Yes ..
She said yes...
His eyes falling over Dae-ni's photo frame on the wall that he took when he's in high school, Jungkook blinked down.
And I said yes to her.
