Disappearing

Dj ran and disappeared into the crowd he heard yelling and screaming coming from guards and Dj ran down an alley and he ran across two streets and disappeared into a crowd he blended into the crowd and walked until he heard two guys talking about going into the city of the Greece. Dj looked around and saw a carriage and he walked around behind it and saw barrels Dj got into the back of the carriage and hid under the blankets and waited.

After an hour of riding the cart came to a first stop Dj heard someone say,"We have to check your cargo" then a guard came in the back of the wagon and Dj held his breath watching the guard look around the wagon the guard got off and smacked the side of the wagon and said,"You are free to go " Dj waited for the Wagon to start moving and he released his breath and he waited for what felt like five minutes he moved from where he was hiding and and looked out the back to find nothing he jumped off the wagon and ran off the road and hid in the alley behind the buildings he climbed to the top of the building's and sat at the buildings peak he looked out and smiled and said,"I'm coming for my family green and your head" Dj stood and started running towards the city but before he jumped he left a note for Bear and snow and what his plan was. He stopped at the edge of what he would call the slums of the City of Greek and he jumped down into an alley and he walked out of the alley and down the main road towards the inner city of Greek where Green was living. He looked at all the buildings and saw all kinds of people but mostly what looked to be elves but not the Santa elves but human looking people with pointy ears and pale skin. They all had some type of animal partner out but most were small Dj heard a voice in his head and it said,"Let me out old friend you will need me here" Dj smiled as he knew it was Zeus he smiled and snow had told him the words to release an animal and how to get them back on. Dj said the words in Latin ,"Dimittis me socium in cute" Zeus disappeared and reappeared in front of him and Dj walked over and patted Zeus's side and he said,"Long time no see my friend we need to find our family" Zeus nodded and Dj looked at all the shocked faces of everyone and he smiled slightly and he climbed onto Zeus's back he said,"We have to act natural Zeus they are looking for me" Zeus gave a slight nod and the Zeus walked forward and the two started into the inner wall of the city of Greeks. The pair walked pass multiple squadrons of elf soldiers. They watched Zeus and Dj closely but all squadrons just kept moving not wanting to deal with the giant wolf. The two were walking when a man stepped in front of Zeus and Dj and he said,"Why is it you can have a giant wolf but I can't have a hyena Beast" Dj said,"I'm a visitor not wanting trouble just keep going". The man slapped Zeus and Zeus let a deep growl and the man jumped back and said,"Hey you worthless mutt" he then looked at Dj and he said,"You need to teach your partner respect for he is in vicinity of an elf" Dj smiled and his eyes turn yellow and he said,"Well mate he's never tried elf but I'm sure he would love it" The man turned pale and and then he said,"You wouldn't dare I happen to know Green the city leader" Dj looked at him interestingly and said,"And I care why that matters" Dj climbed down from Zeus and he matched the man eye to eye and the man said,"I can have you arrested for threatening me" Dj smirked and pulled a throwing knife out of its sheath and said,"Well friend by the time they know your dead I will have disappeared into the city never to be seen" he smiled and chuckled darkly and the man gulped and Dj said,"If you cherish your life leave now" the man stepped back and Dj walked over to Zeus and sheathed his throwing knife and he climbed onto the back of Zeus and the two kept going towards the inner city gate. Along the way he saw a poster that said battle arena partner battles winner gets to meet all the city leaders Dj smiled and grabbed the poster and the two made it to the gate and the guards stopped him and they asked,"Papers and transport tags" Dj said,"I'm here for the battle arena I was told I didn't need papers or transportation" Dj created a letter with the same stamps at the bottom as the poster he assumed they were city leaders. He pulled the letter from his right pocket and handed it to one of the guards and the guard read it and looked shocked at the letter and he nodded to the other guard and the man said,"Sorry for stopping you sir we give our deepest apologies" Dj nodded and the man gave him the letter back and Dj and Zeus were on to the inner city. Dj watched the guards as they passed and Zeus was on edge to. The two walked down the city streets earning looks from all directions as the two stood out like a sore thumb. Dj waved at one of the guards and he asked,"Were do I find the battle arena" the guard pointed towards the giant circular building next to what looked like a skyscraper it was a fourteen story building he tallest in the city. Dj looked at it and thanked the guard and the two were on there way to check in. Walking to the front gate the guard said,"Name, partner name" Dj said,"Ring name is Reaper and partner name is The Alpha" the guard paled and asked,"Your the partner of the Alpha" Dj nodded and the man with a shaking voice,"Your entry fee is a thousand gold" Dj pulled out a bag and threw it on the table the man was sitting at the guard said,"Your room in the arena is half of the top floor the other half is for the city leaders to watch the fights" Dj nodded and him and Zeus walked into the arena entrance and up the giant ramps and he saw thousands of people from Ogres, Orcs, pixies, elves, Humans everyone hustling and trying to get auto graphs from other known Fighters and famous people. Dj climbed down from Zeus and the two walked up the ramp together through the crowds everyone parted as they walked past and some women ogled while men sneered kids watched in astonishment watching as the two walked through. The two were stopped by guards and Dj readied to attack and a man walked up with a girl who seemed she could careless about being there and the man said,"I am in charge of the city of the Owls my name is roger" Dj nodded his head and Roger asked,"Can I get your name" and he said,"Well all I am able to say my ring name is the Reaper" the girl turn quickly and she looked shocked and studied him. Roger nodded and said,"Well nice to meet you Mr. Reaper can't wait to see your fights" the guards and roger and the girl which he Knew by her reaction she was Emily the girl she met on the rooftop. Dj and Zeus walked past them and to the top floor where he was stopped again by guards. Instead of a man a woman stepped forward and said,"Hello I'm Rose I'm the city leader of Rosewood and this is my daughter Isabella" Dj nodded and Rose asked,"What is your name" Dj said,"The only name I can give you is the Reaper" She nodded and asked,"What is your partners name" Dj smiled and said,"His ring name is the The Alpha" Rose's eyes turned panicked and she calmed herself and said,"Well Mr. Reaper I hope to see your fight" Dj nodded and nodded to her daughter and the guards let Zeus and Dj walk past. Dj's Dj Zeus made to the their room and they walked in the massive room and They had a special area for partners to train and for them to eat. Dj walked to the kitchen area and he found an itinerary and it read,"Interviews start at Nine P.M. you selected time is ten-thirty P.M. you are to dress in your battle armor no weapons allowed all weapons will be confiscated if you have them on your person you and your partner shall be interviewed and interview will be broad casted by magic to all of the cities. You will be given a roster and chance to train before each fight choice is yours" Dj read the letter and sat it down on the counter and he walked into the room he stripped himself of all weapons he had he could change or create any weapon needed in that time and moment. Dj created his own armor one meant to be able to take an arrow or sword blow and also send fear into his enemies. Dj created a thicker plated armor that covered his whole body and chest that could be easily stripped off by moving a hidden latch in the armor. Dj knelt to the ground and he prayed for the first time in a long time after his prayer he stood and readied himself and he walked out of the bedroom and found Zeus waiting there Dj looked at the time and seen it was eight thirty Dj said to Zeus,"I need to change my appearance a little so I can still hide" Dj used the magic Bear gave him and he made his k9s grow slightly longer and his eyes to turn red for their original green and he added scarring to his face and made his armor look worn like he had been in many battles. Dj looked at the clock again and it read nine fifteen. Dj said,"We need to go Zeus" Zeus followed in tow with Dj and the two started the walk down the ramps to the bottom floor and he found multiple contestants in line Dj took his place behind that last person which was a girl who had a small dragon as her partner. Dj studied the small dragon watching its moves to learn how to defend against it.
