Jess get out of the elevator The living room light was off only the lamp from the seatings stands glows,  the radiator was on

"I was waiting for you" oops Jess said quietly as she expected that well enough  she didn't look on the stairs, the living room became bright. Her heels click against the marble floor as she sits on the couch.

"Care to explain what Travis lil is doing in our home" mary asked she didn't yelled or screamed that was one of the quality about mary, she is soft in speaking.

"He's in my class I didn't ask him to the dance, I never wanted to go to the dance but is my senior year and is once" jess explained.

"Jess what is Travis lil doing in our home" mary repeated the question because  Jess wasn't answering her question rather blabbing  through words in her head.

"For the dance" Jess swallowed.

"You school has a total of two hundred students  and is Travis lil you choose to the dance with" Jess became mute there was a point there.

"Beside Travis lil What else are you hiding" mary asked putting her feet down on the floor from the couch, Jess rolled her eyes take a deep breath and slapped her clutch purse against her thigh in irritation.

"Nothing" Jess yelp when mary storm at her with the same question but Jess yelled back that she isn't hiding anything. Mary looked at her sternly.

"Unbelievable" she paced to and fro In front of Jess breathing shakily, Jess had no option than to spill her gut, keeping secrets especially the incident that happened in Mombasa someone has to know and is so frustrating for one person. Jess didn't care how much money she shut Kyle ass with, someone deserves to know and that person is her sister.

"Mary I do have something I'm hiding actually" mary cools down a little bit at least she still has a little bit of confidence in her if she admits the truth regarding the streams of text and calls receipt she saw  from her phone.

"Well not certainly what  happened in vegas stays in Vegas, Is Kyle I accidentally killed his contractor, it was a reflex mary I didn't intend to" Jess paused then resumed it was hard for her to explained especially as she thought how distain she become  in the eyes of Mary now.

"I know of all these files on Kyle enemies and this contractor was on the number five list, Kyle owed him millions with no idea how but when I learnt he was the one standing in front of me after he just shot someone in front of me, I became scared turned out Kyle set me up to be a collateral damage I wasn't going to let that happened"

"So you killed him" mary cut in sharply, the way she said was heart breaking.

"I have to protect myself, I wanted to return to Nigeria so bad but Kyle didn't want me to leave" Jess said pausing she let go of her glittering clutch landing on floor taking off seconds to pressed her eyes with her fingers at least eyeshadow wasn't going to smudge because Travis clear that up with love making.
