"Hello, Jess you there" Travis muttered.

"Yes, yes I'm here is good to know" her voice sound different.,

"You know I want to see you right can that be possible" Travis motioned, Jess wanted to see him as well, she wasn't sure if he will show up on Monday in school.

"Travis is suppose to be your partner, sorry he stood you up"

"Is nothing" Jess smiled the first time she and susan met.

"He always disappear like that, he wanted to drop out once before he was homeschool in middle school, somehow he balance it well when homeschool because teachers show up everyday is just the time here doesn't reflect with his work" Susan continue, Jess wanted to know more so she listen attentively to susan.

"So you think he's going to come back is been  three days" Jess cut in worriedly after Susan did not continue the story, Susan chuckle,

"Why are you so interested I mean who cares if he doesn't show up"  susan which solution is already been mixed in the beaker grab a test tube as she shrugged and said,

"Because we study together"  Jess eyes darted on how Susan moved her hand while she get the test tubes rack ready for the experiment.

"Okay, I don't know maybe he will show up when his mom donate a sizeable funds to the school he will enroll in again, if I was the one that miss two class principal will detained me, they are entertaining this because his mom is rich" Susan said,

"Is not because his rich, Travis actually is brilliant, is just that he's more into music and I don't blame him for that"

"I'm not blaming him either.....Is like you are in love with him" susan raised her head in surprise, Jess looked away focusing on the solution.

"No I'm not I'm just saying...." Jess stutter without knowing what to say.

"Okay fine I get it, maybe we see another time Susan please excuse me" Jess packed her things,

"I didn't mean to be rude to Travis everyone think he's a spoilt brat" Susan cut in feeling she made her leave, Jess paused on her track and looked over her shoulder as she nervously stuck her hand in her lab coat, Susan was right about her feelings instead of her admitting to it instead cower.

"He's a nice person, get to know someone first before you judge, just because other people opinion about him doesn't mean that's who he is" Jess said, even if susan doubted the narrative she still managed to smile which shows how kind she is. She hardly make eye contact and have two conversations but with susan it was different, seem like they are going to end up as friends after all.

"Okay I heard you, is like forty minutes left" she said regarding their time.

"I know  go ahead, I will see you tomorrow around this time" Jess walked out, Susan looked at her till she finished at the door, she went ahead to finish the experiment as she write down the theory in her hand book.
