Alternate Reality

While he was locked in, he found himself on bed sleeping. He woke up , it was 2:30 PM , hot sunny noon.

He quickly washed his face & gone for a serious talk with one of his favourite " friend ", Ishita Kapoor, who lives a village away & also into science stuff.

Ishita : ' Hi! What are you doing here ? It's literally noon '

Manas : ' It's urgent, I really need your help . '

Ishita : ' Another project and you're too lazy for that ... Right? '

Manas : 'No, I've been facing a unrealistic clouds, game , trees .. '

Ishita : 'What are you talking about? '

Manas: ' How can I explain...'

[He was just about to tell , suddenly he fainted and found himself on thr bed again ,

surprisingly it was 2:30 PM again ]

He understood that he won't get any kind of help from anyone. His grandpa came to his room & ...

Grandpa: ' Hey! Manas , everything good ? '

Manas : ' Yes . Um, Grandpa what day it is ? '

Grandpa: ' It's Wednesday, what happened to you? Any problem? '

Manas : ' No'

Grandpa: ' So, the thing is that I know you're not that mature to talk about this but I have to ...'

Manas : ' what ? '

Grandpa: ' Your granny and me are both getting old , there's not much time left . Your uncle will get 50 % of the fields & lands. You'll get the rest. Tomorrow, the lawyer will come . I hope you understand. '

Manas : ' Yeah..'

[ He saw two shining eyes behind the door. He instantly stood up and followed it . It vanished into the fields. ]

He asked his granny about some animal if they came outside his room.

She replied, ' 1000's of animals come & go daily...'

Manas: ' No, I meant a big one like... like a tiger or something '

Granny: ' Ha!ha!ha! [ Laughed out the situation] , good joke '.

He sat down & asked himself,

' What Mr. Wolf will get even if I do anything with my money ( grandpa's property) . What's the purpose of this game ? I'm pretty sure they will take me to that game show yet again after completing tasks '

[ The phone rings ]

Manas : 'Hello ?'

Someone: "Why you aren't coming to school? It's been a week, you'll get suspended if you continue this . Prepare a medical report to submit to the principal & come tomorrow. "

Manas : 'Mam?'

Mrs. Chetna : "You understand?"

[ The phone hungs up ]
