While the calamity called "Ayensi Sole Tiowen" fell onto Ressuim, the Highest Realm was oblivious to this.
In the Highest Realm, time and space were greatly distorted. In some part, they are non-existent while in some part, any of the two is so dominant that paradoxes becomes possible.
If a normal human was brought into this place, only luck will lead them to somewhere safe. Because even if they don't move, space and time will on their own.
Only great beings can walk indifferently in this realm where reality is bent.
And even in this place, there are special beings that rule over the realm. They are called [Gods] by the mortals.
In the vast space of this realm, there are some places that had its time and space perfectly synchronized to Ressuim. Once a hundred years have passed in this place, Gods will come and have a talk here regarding this world.
After all, they are too great to be focusing on just one world. Ressuim is just one of many, located in the Low Realm.
Although they have their attention on Ressuim right now, the Gods didn't know what was currently happening there.
They wouldn't look at Ressuim in real-time. Once they're back in their own time, faster than the time in that world, would they only take notice of it.
These Gods have something better to do than see the insignificant changes in one of many worlds in the Low Realm.
Unlike other worlds where one century can bring great changes that are worthy of the Gods' attention, Ressuim was one of those worlds in which civilization is stuck and is generally uninteresting.
That is why the Gods didn't look at Ressuim, thinking that nothing should be happening right now, considering that it was somewhat a hundred years ago when the new Guardian of Spirit was found.
In this particular location in the Highest Realm, there is a round table specifically built for the Gods. On each seat, there was one God except for one. A seat considerably grander than the others is still empty.
One of them was the God of Spirit, Mitteus.
"I was just saying that you're power is big and thick."
"I'm the Goddess of Matter, Perer, being giant is a part of me. I know that, however, why did you use my fat as a metaphor for how big the range of my power is?"
"Is my use figure of speech wrong?" Mitteus calmly replied to Perer.
There were thirteen seats. Twelve Gods for the Twelve Guardians and one special God who only attends in the meeting of this certain world.
There were two arguing right now. The reason why no one was stopping them was that their bouts were much interesting than quietly waiting for the last God to arrive.
"Your use of words are not, but it is your attitude that's wrong."
Perer was evidently restraining to raise her voice.
"I would've felt guilty for my words if only you're not occupying two seats at the same time..."
Meanwhile, Mitteus was standing up since he had nowhere to seat.
"Can't you see how far each seat between each other is? I know that you can't get near the throne but can't you make yourself smaller?"
"Are you seriously calling me fat?" Perer lightly growled.
Mitteus sighed, "Finally, you understand what I'm trying to say."
The space trembled just from the aura that Perer and Mitteus emitted when suddenly-
"Take your seat."
An angelic voice resounded which froze the two Gods.
An overwhelming presence appeared that even as Gods, they were having trouble keeping their composure.
A figure of a woman, clothed in white veils, descended from above and sat onto the empty chair that Perer didn't dare get near. Even though she was clad in white veil, her alluring womanly shape could be clearly seen.
The grander seat was reserved for the one and only, Goddess of Highest, Goddess Shiena.
The whole place received a hush as Perer and Mitteus became well-behaved. The former made herself smaller to fit on the chair, meanwhile, the latter's face twitched when he realized Perer can do this from the beginning. However, he chose to stay quiet and sit with composure.
The angelic voice behind the curtain of veils continued.
"Let's get this over with, I'm too busy. Perer, you go first as usual."
Perer who became a small round woman that almost looked like humpty dumpty, the Goddess of Matter, began her report. Even though she was now small, her voice still contains weight.
"In the past century, I see no changes in the Law Fragment of Matter, Goddess Shiena."
The head behind the curtain of white veil nodded, "I see, still the sam-"
"Ah!"
Goddess Shiena's voice was interrupted by an exclamation. She looked at the cause of this interruption with unknown eyes behind the veil while the other Gods almost stopped breathing. They all looked at God Mitteus.
"What is the reason for you to disrupt me?" the Goddess of Highest asked in calm voice but everyone else felt their heart stopped beating.
God MItteus, the center of attention, paled from fright.
"I apologize, Goddess Shiena, but I was just shocked since Ressuim's Guardian of Spirit is calling for my help at this very moment." he had done a good job in keeping his composure.
"That is indeed rare." Goddess Siena nodded and continued, "But is that your reason for interrupting me?"
The other eleven Gods gulped.
"No, no matter what reason there is, it is not enough to interrupt you, Goddess Shiena. It's solely my mistake because you see, the Guardian of Spirit is not alone in praying for help. Eight other Guardians are giving their energy to her."
The other Gods were a bit surprised. Guardians have the power that is equal to the beings in the High Realm. There should be few that can match even one of them in the Low Realm.
But now, God Mitteus is telling them that Nine of these Guardians are seeking for his help?
That basically means that even if there are nine of them, they are hopeless to the problem they are currently facing.
"Then look at their problem and solve it quickly."
"Yes, Your Holiness." Mitteus nodded and looked into it.
The combined energy of the Nine Guardians was enough to open a portal for the partial form of God Mitteus' whole hand to pass through, not just a single finger. That power alone was enough to destroy the whole Ressuim.
'I hope it's not them playing around. Though I doubt it, they're all very serious and loyal to us.' God Mitteus thought.
He then poked a hole through the realm and looked from Ressuim's sky to see what's happening with the Guardians.
Once he saw the situation, he almost lost his soul.
"..."
"Mitteus, what did you see?" Goddess Shiena asked, A God should have an unequal composure. So it is strange to see that God Mitteus' face was slowly distorting.
"Goddess Shiena... I heard the Guardian of Spirit's prayer. They're fighting against someone named..."
God Mitteus gulped first before continuing;
"Ayensi Sole Tiowen."
Gods are creatures who attained godhood and ascended. Most of them are humans that is why they still retain their human-like characteristics such as a beating heart.
They don't change their appearance as this is a form of representing where they came from. Other Gods wouldn't touch mortal humans so easily since there are too many human Gods.
However, even if their heart are pierced, it wouldn't do anything to them. Their soul that attained godhood is their true core. If they want, they could go with no form at all and be nothing, in terms of time and space, but still have consciousness.
