Space was once infinite darkness.
At some point, there was an explosion and everything was formed.
Stars shone and planets collided.
Each body in space is immensely huge. No human could ever hope to explore every one of these celestial bodies.
At a particular solar system, an artificial solar system, has one giant red star with eighteen planets with varying sizes orbiting around it. There were nineteen, actually, but the nineteenth was not a planet but something shaped like a thick and blunt blade. It was black as obsidian.
The closer the planets are, the faster they rotate and orbit around their center, the star.
This star was a red giant at the end of its lifespan. Although it is nearing its death, in a human's perspective, it would take more than a hundred millions of years before it explodes.
"Hayss..."
There was a sigh that could be heard in this red giant.
Humanoid mountains could be seen on its surface. Most had abnormal bodies. Some have an additional arm growing out of their back, some had half of their heads shaved off, some have a hundred legs, and so on.
The most noticeable feature about these humanoid beings is that they are bright.
Too bright!
It was as if they are the cause why that star could shine on eighteen planets, giving them light and beyond.
The reason why they looked like mountains was that all of them were kneeling and prostrating. These beings number not just in thousands, millions, or billions. There are more than trillions of them!
They were terrifying and intimidating, but to think that they are prostrating was more chilling.
Their heads were all pointed at one location. At the center of these beings, a small figure could be seen.
He was lazily sitting on a throne-shaped object. This man wore an unburning white trouser with a long and white tail, reaching up to his heels. White pants, silver shining shoes, silver shoulder pads, and white gloves.
His face was terrifyingly beautiful in terms of human perception. It seemed like God specifically carved his face to show beauty to the world.
With a soft v-shaped bang at the front, he had a long-tied snow-white hair at the back of his head that was as long as the tail of his trouser.
But his appearance was not important, even though he seemed otherworldly, no, but rather, heavenly. More importantly...
"How many worlds have I visited? I've lost count ages ago." he stared listlessly up at the blazing sky. The blinding brightness did not even make his eye twitch.
"God... God... God... what God? Where God?!"
He exclaimed in frustration as his appearance has indifference on them.
"I've traveled for how many millennia but still haven't found this God!" he stood up as his silver hair waved along with his motion.
The man then pointed at the mounds of flames.
"These [Brightmers] are no fun. Fiction is more entertaining than these guys!"
Just as he said this, the sea of flames shook more destructively than it normally should.
A great solar flare came out of the burning surface and whipped the sky, creating large tremors.
The so-called "Brightmers" panicked. Each of them was slow as they were too big. It was not that this man was small, but these brightmers are just giants if compared.
Soon, this flare danced in destruction, killing upon thousands of giant brightmers in mere seconds!
As these brightmers turned into fragments, they were pulled into the flare. A form was getting created. A giant of the giants appeared with its humungous body.
The red giant star slightly trembled when this abnormal brightmer seemingly roared.
"Another Brightmer Lord appeared? the man showed a confused expression, calm in the face of such destruction, "Doesn't it appear every ten thousand years?"
"I've been here for that long? I thought I killed the last lord like what? Ten days ago? But ten thousand years had actually passed..."
But soon, he shrugged it off.
The man faced the Brightmer Lord as it rampaged its way towards him. It was the king of this star but another being was actually ruling it.
Unforgivable!
Each of its steps destroyed the helpless normal brightmers that could do nothing. It walked unimpeded. The star continuously shook and the temperature rose to a horrifying heat!
Even other brightmers dispersed from such heat. The first three planets burned, killing billions upon billions of beings, simply living in there. The heat reached the fourth, the fifth... until all planets were devoured in flames.
"Hmph! Just a Brightmer Lord, you should've prostrated like the others." the man with the silver hair harrumphed before he waved his sleeve and something shot out.
BOOM!*
The head of the Brightmer Lord exploded as gas and smoke desperately spread. Debris relentlessly fell from its head and its movement stopped.
The temperature lowered and the shaking eventually faded. Cracks formed in the Brightmer Lord's body before it was split into many parts, falling onto the sea of flames.
The normal brightmers seemingly roared in joy in seeing this and went back to prostrating.
But the snow-white-haired man didn't care and in the next moment, his surrounding changed.
As of now, he was standing on the nineteenth object that was orbiting the red giant. It was long and took a form of a blade. However, it was blunt and thick with symmetrical deformities.
The man looked at the eighteen planets burning. It was a magnificent sight for the eyes to see. Fearsome, yet, majestic.
The man, however, couldn't care less as he muttered to himself.
"This is the last world I have ventured. There's no more. What do I do?"
But in the next moment, his eyes glimmered and exclaimed;
"HEH! I would do anything but give up! If I can't find any clue with the first try, what about a second try!? Ressuim! I haven't forgotten about that world, the world I reincarnated to!"
In front of the dying planets, his voice resounded.
"I, Ayensi Sole Tiowen will find the culprit of my reincarnation and let him, her, or it taste my relentless scolding!"
As soon as he finished his words, the obsidian object that was as big as the other planets swooped into the emptiness, ignoring the laws of space and traveling faster than light.
Ayensi didn't wait long for the ship-like object to stop. His hair and clothes fluttered as if they were underwater.
He looked around and noticed.
There was nothing.
Not a dot of a star, a rock floating, or anything. It was complete darkness. That was, except for one tiny dot in a seemingly random direction.
Just a little more and it would become invisible.
"At the edge of space, the universe seemed so tiny. Hehe..." he forgot how many times he muttered those words. Yet, he couldn't help but say it due to being mesmerized over and over again.
He knew more than anyone else how big a universe is. But now, it was smaller and dimmer than a dot of a star on the Earth's night sky.
Normally, the light of the universe shouldn't have traveled that far. But Ayensi was different. He was absurdly overpowered and sometimes just plain unexplainable.
Slowly, the ship-like object he was standing on was slowly being eaten by the darkness.
It was actually entering another world, another space, another universe.
