Adiria was about to get up but then remembered, that she could anger it by doing so, so she stayed seat and looked at it as it growled, while approaching her.
The best was talk, black, had blue eyes with a long tail and a wolf like body but it wasn't actually a normal wolf and she exhaled deeply as she stared it, directly in its eyes and her father arrived, at the same time.
"I have no intention... You are sort of nice," She said as her eyes shimmered while looking at the creature, with a smile on her face.
Her father left staring at her and her eyes narrowed as she kept on staring at it, not breaking eye contact even once.
"What's going on here?" Her father asked, a little confused as he looked at her and she got closer to the creature, who took a stepped back and she scoffed.
"I am not going to hurt you..." She mumbled and the creature jumped back as she tilted her head, a little to the right and her father's brows furrowed.
The girl raised her right arm, but before she could do anything, the creature rushed off into the woods and Adiria exhaled deeply, for she was indeed a little scared of it.
"Why do U always end up in these kinds of situation? At times I feel as if the gods have something against me," She said as she looked up at the sky and her father approached her.
'I don't think that it, form since you were just a little girl, weird things tend to happen to you, why? Even, I don't know, no mater how many times I tried to figure it out, I came back with nothing, you are just different, unique in your own way,' He thought before sitting beside her and she glanced at him.
"Father..." She mumbled and he smiled as he looked at her.
"Are you okay?" He asked.
"Yeah, I am sorry, papa, it's your first day back and this is how I treated you, I didn't mean to be so harsh, even though that was the truth, I am really sorry," She responded as she lowered her gaze and he sighed.
"There is no need to apologize, you are right about everything, I missed part of your childhood because of that as well, I am sorry that I couldn't do anything," He said and she sighed.
"There is no need for you to apologize either father, you only did what you thought was right, the royals mind, is slightly corrupted in my opinion, no one should give their life for people like that, I learnt a lot about how they think," She replied and his eyes widened as he stared at her.
"Still, I am sorry, but not all royals are the same, please don't think that, there are really good ones, even among the ones I work for," He said as he hugged her tightly and her eyes narrowed.
"I know, I know," She replied as she hugged him back, tightly.
'Dear god, please don't let my child have a hard life, I know that there are certain things that cannot be avoided, she is different as well, but please don't make it hard on her, she is the best kid, she has a good heart, I don't want her to suffer,' He thought as his eyes narrowed.
The girl hugged her father for quite some time, to the point that she fell asleep and he smiled when he looked at her and saw how peaceful she looked, with a gentle smile on her face.
A little while after, her father woke her up, then took her home, where the others were waiting for them, to have dinner.
Both of them apologized to them, for they didn't mean to keep them waiting for so long, but they understood and invited them in, so that they could all eat.
Everyone sat down at the table, like one big and happy family and they all began eating, for they were hungry, as well as happy that the father and daughter had sorted out their little issue.
Later that night, when they finished eating their meal, the girl noticed her father, kept on glancing outside and her brows furrowed, wondering what was going on with him, but she didn't ask.
"Father, you are not out here not good, are you?" She asked and he glanced at her, as she ate the chocolate that he brought back for her.
"You knew?" He asked and she sighed.
"Yeah, I knew, I just didn't want to say it, I don't want you to go back, but it's the same as a few years ago, there is nothing I can do and I can't even if there was, it's where we stand, papa, just dont' lose anything else, as long as you come back, I will be more than thankful," She responded.
Her father smiled brightly as he looked at her and Maria, exhaled deeply, seeing that the girl was not angry with him, for she knew how much her father loved her and how hard her worked to provide for her.
"I will be out here for the most, about a month or two, but after I go back, I will be able to take vacations, come out for another month or two a year is that okay?" He asked and she smiled.
"That's more than enough for me, at least you will still be able to visit," She responded as she hugged him and he chuckled as they watched the stars together.
Later on, when it was time for the girl to go to her bed, she freshened up the took out the bracelet her father had given her.
"This bracelet feels magical, but unlike some people here, who are gifted with magical abilities, I don't have that kind of luck, but I am grateful," She said with a smile then placed it on her hand, after which, she went into bed, to call it a night.
While she was sleeping, the dragon's eyes on the bracelet, glowed for a second, before returning to normal and at the same time, her father went into the balcony, when he noticed that the creature was looking at their home, from behind the trees.
"So, that creature is the one that I sensed was following us, ever since we left the woods, why?" He asked as his eyes narrowed then he exhaled deeply.
"I have to get to the bottom of this," He mumbled before closing the doors and going to his bed, then a mark appeared on the girl's chest for a second then disappeared.
