Gambling God

The gambling scene continued as Theo, Elliot, and John spectated the battle between the most famous gladiators of the Channel Opening Evolutionary Realm. This was undoubtedly the most spectacular fight Elliot, who got to access the virtual platform for the first time, has ever witnessed in his life, and he couldn't help but marvel at the strength displayed by the two gladiators of nearly equal strength with lips parted slightly. Even Theo and John felt their blood boiling as they watched the might of the gladiators in the Channel Opening Evolutionary stage.

Elliot didn't place his bet on anyone this time. Of course, it is because both the gladiators were of nearly equal strength and he couldn't determine the victor out of the two. He wasn't going to place his bet on someone just to lose the little bit of money he earned easily.

"Goblin Head could have performed better. He just took the beating laying down when he could have used his Earth Morphing Ability to create a dome around him to defend the attack of Gladiator Bald Punch." John complained after Bald Punch won the match.

"Didn't you notice? Goblin Head had run out of Magic Energy in the middle of the battle. Goblin Head couldn't use his ability to defend Bald Punch's supernatural attacks as he lacked magic energy to activate it." Theo said, explaining the reason why Goblin Head lost at the end.

From the very start of the battle, Goblin Head has been using his ability and expending magic energy while Bald Punch dodged them by using the least amount o movements. It was clear that Bald Punch had more experience than Goblin Head.

If only I knew that, I would have placed my bet on Bald Punch. Sadly, God's Eye of Wisdom doesn't reveal the battle experience of a person or much about their life except for a detailed statistical diagram of a person's stats, ability, and some personal info, Elliot thought with a head lowered in slight disappointment.

He knew that there was no use crying over split milk.

However, he couldn't help but feel a bit sad and disappointed as he has lost a huge chance to make big bucks.

However, it didn't more than a few seconds for him to man up, feeling happy and excited about the near future.

He could still spectate more fights and bet on gladiators that will win for sure as they still have around 2 and a half of Gladiator Time left.

"What are you guys going to do now? Watch more fights between Gladiators or participate in a battle as one?" Theo asked as he looked at John and Elliot.

"I'm feeling a bit off today, so I am going to keep on spectating," John replied. He wasn't feeling it within him as he just watched his most favorite Gladiator losing a match.

"I only want to try out my luck today, so I won't be participating in a fight," Elliot said, expressing his desires to only spectate Theo.

"I guess I will tag along with you guys," Theo said, not wanting to go off on his own and stick with his newfound homies.

They started to spectate one match after another, getting teleported to arenas with different outlooks, not a single one looking similar to another, as Elliot betted on a Gladiator that has a very high chance to win the fight ever so occasionally.

And all of the time the person he placed his bet on won!

Simply inconceivable!

Theodore Rose and John Crimson sat still and in awe as if struck by a lightning bolt, staring at Elliot with an expression of bewilderment, unable to make sense of the situation nor able to understand how he won ten bets in a row. Winning a bet one to five times in a row can be attributed to luck; However, nine times? It was not possible for a person to be so lucky.

"Do you have a trick up your sleeve that allows you to determine who is going to win?!" John asked as he looked at Elliot with eyes widened in bewilderment and awe after Elliot successfully betted nine times in a row.

"You... How did you know who is going to win?" Theo couldn't believe someone to be lucky enough to win in a gambling game nine times in a row even if the probability of winning was around fifty percent.

Hearing their words of astonishment, seeing their awestruck expression, and feeling their bewilderment, Elliot's lips stretch back into a sleazy smile.

Of course, it is through God's Eye of Wisdom.

Not only does God's Eye of Wisdom allows him to see the stats and evolutionary stage of a person, but he is also able to see the details and limits of their abilities. They are all written in detail on the screen that pops up in his mind each time he looks at someone with the intent of seeing their strength.

Knowing the limits of the supernatural ability of the gladiators, their evolutionary stage, and their stats, even if Elliot's intelligence is halved, it is still a simple task to determine who is stronger than the other.

"I will tell you guys about my cheat once I'm ready. I hope you don't get too startled at that time. For now, let's spectate another match. We only have a few minutes left to stay in the Magic Coliseum." Elliot said with a mysterious smile on his face.

Theo Rose and John Crimson agreed and they hurried to spectate another match. They have tasted what it means to earn a huge amount of money without doing anything at all. They just followed after Elliot, placing a bet on the person he placed his bet on and won 2000 Magic coins in less than three hours. That much amount of money could be used to buy a level 1 equipment of the magic realm.

What did that even mean?!

So, they wanted to taste the feeling of earning easy magic coins even more.

A few minutes later, once Elliot placed his bet and the Gladiator he betted on won, he not only received a notification from the system of the game world, telling him that he has won 500 Magic coins, totaling him 3000 Magic coins, but he also received a notification from his artifact!

He read through the notification in silence.

After reading it, Elliot's jaw dropped as if thunder has struck a person next to him!
