"What are you doing here?!" Liu Ye called out in worry as he put a gun in the back of his pants and rushed to Zhenzhen's side. "It's dangerous here." 

Although she looked scared, she didn't reject Liu Ye's embrace which was her only safe place. 

"Big Bro, what happened here?" Zhenzhen questioned while looking up at him. "Are you injured?"

She tried to check his body for any wounds before he even replied but Liu Ye only covered her ears while pressing her against his chest. 

Bang!

Zhenzhen jerked at the sound of another gunshot and Xu Yue came over. "We have to go." 

Liu Ye pulled Zhenzhen away and grabbed her face, forcing her to stare into his eyes. 

"Listen to me. Those people were bad guys," Liu Ye explained softly. "They tried to kill us, so we had to defend ourselves. I will tell you everything but we have to leave this place first. Okay?"
