On the Homeloss, the splendid sunlight was shining on the newly scrubbed upper deck, where a spiraling green flame was slowly dissipating above, leaving Alice standing next to the open space, staring dumbfounded at the large pile of things that had appeared on the deck.
"This... this... what is this?!"
The puppeteer exclaimed in shock, and barely had her words fallen when Duncan's voice came from not far off, "Stammering like your head's fallen off—haven't you ever seen pots, pans, ladles, fruits, and vegetables?"
Alice turned her head, a bit stiffly, glanced at Duncan, then back at the large pile of supplies that had suddenly appeared on the deck, thought seriously for a moment, then defiantly put her hands on her hips: "I haven't seen them!"
Duncan: "…?"
"I haven't seen them," Alice continued defiantly, "I've been inside a box for so many years, where would I have seen these things?"
