As Long As You Don't Talk to Him About This, You Won't Go Anywhere

"You didn't take the pills, again?"

A frustrated voice echoed in a doctor's room inside a private hospital.

Behind a pristine white desk, a female doctor sat on a swivel chair. Her expression was twisted as she was enduring her anger.

"Yuina, you said you're not ready but, you didn't take the pills regularly. What are you thinking actually?"

Yuina, who sat on a chair opposite the table only lowered her head. She was fiddling with the ring around her ring finger.

This ring was personally designed by Ryuu. Both of their names were engraved on the backside of the ring.

Its sparkle was reflected in her eyes.

Seeing that her friend looked disheartened, the female doctor sighed.

"Forget it. I could just give you advice. It's up to you to follow it or not," She flicked a speck of invisible dust from the top of the table.

Yuina bit her lower lip. She laughed in self-ridicule.

"Kanna, You know that... it's not like I do not want a child with him," Yuina forced the words out of her mouth, "If possible, I want to have our child to accompany me but, could I raise the child up properly? That's what I'm scared about."

Every time she was left alone inside the luxurious condominium, she imagined what it would be like to have their child around. It would certainly help to dispel her loneliness.

But...

At the same time, she didn't want to jeopardize their child because to her, she felt she wasn't fit to be a mother yet.

She shouldn't use their child as a tool to combat how isolated she felt.

Kanna suppressed her desire to sigh.

"As long as you don't talk to Ryuu about this, you won't go nowhere."

Kanna was one of the few who knew of Yuina's marriage to the Film Emperor Ishizaki. When Yuina suddenly said that Ryuu proposed to her, Kanna wanted to object to it because she felt her friend wasn't suited for a life full of glamor that the film emperor experienced.

Nevertheless, Kana didn't say anything until the end because it was rare for her friend to look so happy. She could only advise Yuina that by marrying a man like Ishizaki Ryuu, she had to be accustomed to his busy schedule and the possibility of being stalked by the notorious tabloids.

At Kanna's words, Yuina could only nod.

"I know," She murmured faintly.

Every time Ryuu brought up the subject of having children, there were times when Yuina wanted to confront him, saying how could they have one when she would mostly be left alone with their child?

Yet, at the glowing face of Ryuu whenever he talked about how adorable their child would be, who their child would follow and else, the words would inevitably be swallowed back by her.

"When would he be back?" Kanna stood up from the chair. She went to the side cabinet to pour a glass of water for her friend, "I saw the news about he's currently in France for a jewelry ambassadorship."

"He went straightaway to Berlin next," Yuina accepted the glass from Kanna. She took a sip before she continued, "He said he would return in two days."

A flash of faint happiness flitted across her eyes.

She really, really missed him.

"Then, when would he go away again?"

Yuina's smile froze. She chuckled awkwardly, "He said he could stay for another three days before he starts the global travel for his new film."

Besides the fans within the country, her husband gained a tremendous amount of fans from all over the globe. He was especially renowned in Asia. Every time he did a meet and greet session for any film he was starring, a lot of overseas fans were willing to come to their country just to be able to join it.

"In the three days he's here, you should really talk to him," Kanna gave a piece of advice, "I know he's not exactly forcing you to have a child but, if this situation continues, I'm afraid you'd explode once you've it enough."

Even though Ryuu would only say words of wanting to have a child without putting excessive demand on Yuina, those same words would undoubtedly become pressure in a long run. Yuina had been stressed because of Ryuu's frequent absence due to his career.

If they argued about the topic of having a child, Kanna was concerned about the impact that would fall on her friend.

Yuina let out a soft "En", acknowledging Kanna's advice.

All this while, Ryuu thought they couldn't conceive because the time hadn't arrived. Since most of his days in a year were spent expanding his acting career, he would often brush it off as something inevitable because of the little time they could be together.

"I'll try to get a long vacation after the filming is done. We could be together more, en?"

He was the one who proposed to have a break yet, once he came across a challenging project, the idea would vanish from his mind.

Aside from being left behind due to his work, to Yuina, Ryuu was indeed a good husband.

His shortcomings came because of his love for his career.

Kanna still had lots of things to say but she dropped them. Saying more would put unnecessary stress on Yuina.

After all, one shouldn't meddle much in a married couple's affairs.

"I have a minor operation scheduled in one hour," Kanna changed the subject, "It should last for one hour at most. Would you like to have dinner together?"

Yuina answered by shaking her head, "I still have papers waiting for me to be marked. I intend to finish them by tonight."

"Alright, off you go now," Kanna waved her hand. She deliberately made her face looked annoyed, "I'll go for an exchange program to City M next month. If there's nothing else, I'd be there for four months. Have a meal with me before that."

"Text me the date and place," Yuina slowly stood up, "Sorry."

Her tone was sincere.

Without further explanation, both of them knew the meaning behind the word 'Sorry'. It wasn't about something as superficial as unable to go for dinner together.

Kanna put a hand on her hips. With a wry smile, she opened her mouth, "I know you're happy with him but, I also understood that you're feeling lonely. A marriage shouldn't be in this way. You guys should talk about it."

Yuina nodded quietly.

"Then, I'll be going," She waved at her friend, "Bye-bye."

"Be careful," Kanna smiled, "Call me anytime you want."

Yuina shot her a grateful smile.

It was a bright and cool spring day yet, while the streets were filled with lovers being affectionate with each other or friends talking animatedly, she was alone.

Yuina's steps paused as she passed a huge billboard over a tall building. Her heart throbbed the moment she saw Ryuu's face was smiling gently on the screen.

It was the advertising for Gems Galore's range of men's jewelry that her husband endorsed.

As Yuina was staring at the man's face, a group of teenagers' squeal and discussion entered her ears.

"Ah~ He's so handsome as always!"

"Have you seen his latest film? I can't believe he would look so good playing an anti-hero~"

"Reports are saying that Director Aoyama is eyeing Ishizaki Ryuu for his next film. If I'm not mistaken, it's about the survival of a pair of father and son in a dangerous forest."

"I think he would accept the role. Our Ryuu isn't one to reject a role just because his handsome face would be smeared with dust and mud~"

"Right! I think so too!"

"Ryuu is going to act with a child? Gosh! He would be the most loving and handsome father~"

The youthful girls continued to talk about their beloved film actor. Yuina turned around. She couldn't listen to them any longer.

It was not a rumor. Riku, her husband's assistant, had gossiped with her when the girl came to deliver the gifts to her the other day.

"If Brother Ryuu accepts the role, his chance to shine in international awards next year would be even better. It's just, Director Aoyama said the casts and crews would be stationed in the jungle for four months at the very least. Argh! I really don't want to go deep into such a forest."

While Riku was worrying over the fact of her having to camp inside a dense forest, Yuina was concerned about the times he would be away from her again.

Even though their marriage was a secret, she could still occasionally visit him on the sets if he was only filming in the city. She would either disguise as an assistant or just wait for him at the hotel.

But, for her to go to the survival film shooting set, Ryuu would blatantly disagree with her.

"The forest is dangerous. Even though the crew would clear off the sets from anything that could harm us, the probability is still there. Be good, stay at home. I'll come back as soon as I can."

Yuina could already imagine what would he tell her.

Her fingers unconsciously tightened around the strap of the sling bag hung over her right shoulder.
