"You see dad, Aunt Stella allowed me go back to my room" said Annie as she smiled after Stella left the room.
"Oh well alright then Honey, but you did hear that she said you can go tomorrow" said John as he smiled.
"Yes, yes and tomorrow is very, very close" said Annie as she smiled.
"Hello my dear, I have your dinner here" said Lisa as she smiled and she walked into the room with a silver tray in her hand.
"Hi Mom" said Annie as she smiled.
"You did not need to do that mom" said Annie as she smiled.
"Well of course I had to, my baby needs to eat good food, for her to grow strong once again" said Lisa as she smiled and she placed Annie's dinner on the table.
"Mom I'm not a baby" said Annie as she laughed.
"Oh to me you are" said Lisa as she laughed.
"And what did you make mom?" asked Annie as she smiled.
"Well chicken soup with pasta" said Lisa as she smiled.
"Ooh sounds delicious" said John as he smiled and he wanted to take a sip of the stew.
"Ouch" said John as Lisa slapped his hand away violently.
"This is for Annie, and not you John" said Lisa as she looked at John and she shook her head.
"How come you never make anything for me?" asked John as he shook his head.
"Are you sick?" asked Lisa as she raised an eyebrow at him.
"Well yes, of course I am, I am sick of not eating your cooking for a long time now" said John as he smiled.
"Oh grow up John, you are not funny at all" said Lisa as she sighed and she shook her head, her husband was acting very childish.
"But I do make you laugh" said John as he laughed.
"Right Annie" said John as he looked at Annie and he smiled.
"Yes Mom, he does" said Annie as she laughed, she had missed this quality time she had with her parents.
"No he does not, he makes me annoyed" said Lisa as she could not help but laugh.
"Hey I am winning, you are laughing" said John as he laughed and Lisa shook her head.
"Enough of that, my girl, you are going to eat now, and no exceptions" said Lisa as she gave Annie her bowl of chicken soup with pasta.
"Okay Mom" said Annie as she smiled.
…
"I am so, so so happy" said Maddie as she danced around.
"Annie is finally going to move back to our room today" said Maddie as she smiled and she looked at Matt.
"Yes I know, you have told me, several times now" said Matt as he smiled, he liked when Maddie was happy like this, she was always usually very pessimistic, but it seemed that ever since Annie was in her coma and she woke up, Maddie had just been more joyous and cheerful lately.
"You don't understand Matt, she's coming back here, which means that she is perfectly fine already, and in no time she will be back to her normal self.
"I do understand, and I like it when you are this way" said Matt as he smiled.
"Like which way?" asked Maddie as she turned back to look at Matt in confusion what did he mean?
"Very happy and optimistic… just like Annie" said Matt as he smiled.
"Well what can I say?" asked Maddie.
"She is contagious… in a good way" said Maddie as she smiled, she herself also thought she would never act like this, she was not someone to be happy all willy nilly, she considered herself very realistic and down to earth, or in this case down to the witch realm, but she could not explain it.
She knew that she herself had changed, she had truly changed, and it was a change for the better, she never knew that she could act this way, like a child, but Annie had taught her that being happy was a matter of the heart, it was a choice that no matter what happened you would be in a good mood.
Annie taught her how to love people, and how to be a better person, which was why she was very grateful that Annie was her best friend, even though they once were enemies, but honesty right now, Maddie could not imagine her life without Annie, she just couldn't.
"Yes, Annie is like that, contagious in a good way" said Matt as he smiled.
"It's like you can never imagine your life without her" said Matt as he smiled.
"Ooooh Matty boy, are you catching feelings??" asked Maddie as she smirked at Matt.
"What?? No, No" said Matt as he moved back and he shook his head, what nonsense was Maddie saying.
"No of course not, what am I even saying?" asked Maddie to herself as she face-palmed and Matt sighed in relief.
"You are not catching feelings, of course not, because you have had them for a while now" said Maddie as she laughed.
"Maddie, just what are you saying?" asked Matt as he shook his head.
"Oh who are you trying to fool Matt??" asked Maddie.
"It obviously isn't me, because I can see right through you" said Maddie as she laughed, she found the way Matt was trying to deny this totally cute and funny.
"You and Annie just love to lie to each other" said Maddie as she laughed.
"Who likes to lie?" asked Annie as she opened the door and she walked into the room as she overheard Matt and Maddie talking.
"Annie??!" asked Maddie and Matt at the same time as they both turned to look at Annie in shock.
"Annie" said Maddie a she ran to hug Annie.
"Ouch Maddie, not too tight" said Annie as she flinched and she laughed, it felt like Maddie was suffocating her.
"Oh, oh sorry" said Maddie as she let go of Annie and she laughed.
"It's alright" said Annie as she smiled, she knew that Maddie was excited to see her and so was she.
"What are you doing here?" asked Maddie as she was shocked.
"Well I am back to our room of course" said Annie as she laughed, she found Maddie silly when she acted like this.
"But why??" asked Maddie.
"What Maddie means is that we were going to come get you" said Matt as he smiled.
"Ahh well, I didn't want to stay there anymore, so I decided to come here by myself, besides, I am perfectly fine" said Annie as she smiled.
"So there is no need for you to worry" said Annie as she smiled at Matt.
"Yayyyy, the best roommate ever is back" said Maddie as she laughed.
"I am glad that you think that I am the best roommate" said Annie as she laughed.
"Lucky you, my roommate has disappeared" said Matt as he shook his head as he smiled.
"Hmm" said Annie as she smiled, she looked around, nothing had changed, the room was exactly the same as she remembered, and her bed was nicely made as if waiting for her to come back, to which she was back.
"So what were you two talking about before I came in?" asked Annie as she walked to sit on her bed, and she looked at Maddie and Matt suspiciously.
"Ahh well nothing" said Matt as he smiled.
"Are you sure?" asked Annie as she was curious, they were both acting weird.
"Of course Annie" said Matt as he smiled and he nodded his head.
"But you were saying something about lies" said Annie as she squinted her eyes at Maddie and Matt.
"Well yes Annie, well because me and Matt were talking about lies, and how lies are not good at all, they only ruin relationships, right Matt??" asked Maddie as she looked at Matt and she smiled at him.
"Yes, yes Maddie" said Matt as he looked at Maddie and he smiled as he nodded his head.
"Hmm okay" said Annie as she did not know why but she did not trust these two, they were always so suspicious, and always very close, but she would believe them for now.
"Why are you so suspicious of us?" asked Maddie as she smiled at Annie.
"Don't you trust us?" asked Maddie.
"Oh of course I do, but you both cannot be trust sometimes, you love to do dangerous things" said Annie as she laughed and she shook her head.
"Ouch Annie, we will let you know that we have been very good while you were gone, right Matt??" asked Maddie as she turned to look at Matt.
"Eh…, well not really, you did misbehave a bit" said Matt.
"Wow so much for us being on the same side Matt" said Maddie as she shook her head and Annie laughed, these two were never going to change, and she loved them anyway.
