Ch 22 : Kushina's fall

It was already very late when Jiraiya returned from Rochen's restaurant.

The result of the discussion was still very clear in his mind.

Though Kushina tried to escape his questions and always deny about her having any relationship with Rochen, the guilt in Kushina's eyes could not escape from his observation.

And now he was more than certain that there was something they hid from Minato.

But just when he opened the door to his residence, he could already feel someone was watching him.

Jiraiya was shocked. The one in front of him was none other than Rochen.

But even though he knew Rochen might be hiding something, he couldn't understand how Rochen could sneak into his room without him noticing.

On Rochen's side, Rochen noticed Jiraiya was shaken, and a smile appeared on his mind.

' System, you sure my magic shield would be able to last for five minutes against this guy?'

[ DING!!! Affirmative host.]

' Well, that's good.'

Since he already had the confirmation from the system, there was nothing else that Rochen was worried about.

He just stood there silently, waiting for Jiraiya's reaction.

But the next second, he saw Jiraiya's figure suddenly blinked, and it appeared right in front of him, trying to attack him.

Fortunately, the magic barrier was always there. Blocking each and every one of Jiraiya's attacks.

" Humph, a futile effort."

Said Rochen. He tried to look composed, though actually, his heart was jumping like mad when he saw Jiraiya attack him.

It took almost three minutes before Jiraiya gave up.

Rochen's barrier was too strong, and he couldn't break it.

" Say, what do you want with me?"

At this time, a wide smile was spread on Rochen's face.

The first step had been passed, and now is the time for:

" Jiraiya, I've come to bargain!"

Said Rochen as he took a bottle of red color from his pocket.

Rochen's place, Kushina's side.

It was almost midnight, and usually, around this time Kushina would have long gone back to her residence.

Yet, for some reason, she didn't have the mood this time.

Jiraiya's words are still stuck in her mind.

' No… I'm not betraying Minato.. I just…'

Yup, if before she only considered her feeling as lust, now Jiraiya's words made her consider more about her feelings.

The jealousy that she felt when Rochen was with Mikoto, and that heart throbbing sensation before. Could it easily be described as lust, or…..

Kushina was a bit startled. Her heart was beating so fast.
