136. Time to Return

After Izumi killed Avoros along with destroying his soul afterward, Avoros' fate was sealed. He wouldn't be able to be revived if he wanted to.

"Sigh, finally done."

Izumi felt relieved after a little more than half a year of living in Edea. The current mission was a bit tricky for him. If there was a short time limit, he wouldn't have improved this much.

Izumi didn't know what would happen in the future since the mission was getting more and more difficult. However, his strength seemed to be improved greatly if he took a dangerous mission.

He looked at the sky. He felt as if someone observed him from above and already planned to let him get stronger step by step.

Then, he shook his head.

"It must be my imagination." Izumi convinced himself.

"However, what if— ah, there's no point in thinking about it. The mission had been profitable for me and the others." Izumi calmed himself.

Izumi looked around him, it seemed that everyone, even the alliance forces was awestruck by Izumi who managed to finish off Avoros.

"What are you looking at? Can't you see there are still a lot of enemies?"

Izumi's words brought them to their senses. Their spirits immediately rose after learning that the enemy leader had died. And the opposite happened to the enemies where their morale dropped drastically.

Izumi looked in a certain direction. He saw Aquinas, Hiiro, Leowald, and the other higher-ups of Evila and Gabranth succeeding in eliminating their opponents by helping each other.

If Izumi wasn't around, Avoros' army would have been superior because of his abilities which were like sealing magic when he was on the battlefield. With Izumi keeping Avoros busy, his men couldn't fight with the usual advantage. This was what got them killed one after another.

Izumi calmly looked at the battlefield while preventing the enemies from running away.

Both Leowald, Eveam, and their subordinates glanced at Izumi who was approaching them.

"How? With a situation like this, do you want to continue the tournament?" Izumi asked them as he stood before Eveam and Leowald.

Leowald could not answer directly. He could see the Gabranth soldiers looking terrified at Izumi. This made Leowald shake his head and said,

"We surrendered, even though I'd love to continue, it seems my soldiers are scared of you."

The Gabranth soldiers were terrified of Izumi after they saw how Izumi fought. And if Gabranth won the tournament, Leowald doubted the courage of his soldiers to invade Xaos as long as Izumi was there.

"What a pity." Izumi shook his head in disappointment. Izumi himself wanted to see the match between two legal lolis, two illegal lolis, and two lolicons that should happen.

If he knew this was going to happen, Izumi shouldn't have fought him seriously.

After that, Eveam and Leowald discussed the agreement, and in the end, Gabranth became Evila's vassal.

Regarding the remaining hero, Chika, who got caught by Avoros, was saved by Judom. It was due to Izumi who contacted Judom before the tournament started. Three days after the peace treaty conference, Judom contacted Eveam and said, the Humas king transformed into a monster while slaughtering the people around him and disappeared.

Izumi and Hiiro immediately came to the Humas continent to meet him. And then Izumi told him to move carefully while telling him Izumi's plan. He also gave some devices for surveillance and spying. Because of that plan and careful approach, Judom was able to infiltrate Avoros's base when he was away.

The day after tomorrow, all the Evilas who participated in the tournament in Passion have returned to Xaos. This time they gathered in front of Izumi's house.

"Are you sure you want to go back now?" Eveam asked, it was a pity that Izumi was not a native of Edea.

Izumi nodded.

"Yes, I miss my home. Also, Your Majesty. As a ruler, you must be decisive with your act, but maintain your rationality!"

"I know. Thanks a lot, Izumi. You'd been a great help for us. Too bad, you're not an Evila." Eveam smiled bitterly.

"Well, you'll find someone like me eventually."

Then, he turned his head towards Hiiro. "Anyway, Otamegane. Are you sure you don't want to return to earth?"

"I'd rather live here for a while. Besides, I don't have anyone there." Hiiro was an orphan, he had no family anymore on earth, therefore he preferred to live in Edea. Maybe when the time is right, he will return to earth.

"If you want, would you be willing to help me with a project?"

"What is that?"

"I'll let you know via direct message from the chat group later if you want."

"Sure, why not."

Izumi and Hiiro's conversation left the others confused because they didn't understand what they were talking about.

He thought what he said about how he could send Hiiro back to earth was just a joke. But, to think that Izumi had such a secret.

Now he knew that his strength was nothing compared to a lot of people. There were still a lot of people above him. So, when Izumi offered to join the chat group, he immediately agreed.

The heroes actually wanted to return to Earth, but Izumi said that he couldn't take them. First of all, he didn't want to. Secondly, he wanted to seal Taishi's strength to avoid what he would do with his power in the future. However, if he wanted to do so, he needed his friend's power.

Well, he didn't seem to have a friend with that power. But, what he thought currently was Rori's curse. Although her curse was somehow too deadly, she could control it perfectly.

Izumi smirked.

Before Izumi left, he whispered to Liliyn.

"You better try harder to express your feelings or you will regret it. You can see, even the demon lord is attracted to him. What if Hiiro returns to his world all of a sudden and you haven't expressed your feelings?"

Liliyn's face suddenly turned red and made Izumi just smile at her.

A while later, Izumi said goodbye to them and he disappeared.

Izumi ignored the notification on his phone and immediately called Kyouko.

Oddly enough, Kyouko didn't pick up her phone.

Kuroneko: Shocked Neko noises.

Kazuma: Oi oi, seriously? Don't tell me that he loves lolita and has become a lolita predator.
