Chapter 18 :- The Temple of Shiva

" Hey so were are we going" asked Hiro

" You know the Daikokuten temple" said Mimiko

"Ok but what it is for "? asked Hiro

Mimiko took a deep sigh and said :-

"The great Siva temple or Daikokuten temple was considered to be a holy Adobe for the visitors. It is said that once , a princess named Sati fell in love with the almighty Shiva and wanted to be his companion. However Sati's father didn't liked Shiva at all , not only because of his attire being ash of dead bodies and long hair with dreadlocks thicker than a forest , his smoking of marijuana and a tiger mane around his waist and a snake around his neck".

" Wow that's kinda scary" said Hiro

" You know I have heard that story too " said Hiroshi

" Wow really ??" asked Mimiko as her eyes glittered

" Oh no here we go again " said Kanako

" What again"? asked Hiro

Mimiko grabbed Hiroshi hand and said " Pls tell Hiro what happens next"

" Ok " said Hiroshi

Hiroshi continued the story :-

"Not only did the gods but also demon and monsters prayed him. Sati's father denied her all requests to meet Shiva and marry him and as a sacrifice to god's she jumped into the holy fire created for worshipping the gods. Shiva angered by the loss of her only love , tore a piece of his hair and smashed it on the ground , creating Bhairav or the mighty black who then killed Sati's Father. When calmed he did revived Sati's father , but since Sati's soul already reached heaven she wasn't able to be revived".

Mimiko abruptly spoke as soon as Hiroshi stopped to take a breath.

"Heartbroken, Shiva roamed the earth carrying the lifeless but burnt body of Sati , which disturbed the balance of the world since he wasn't doing his duty to destroy the objects.

All the gods decided that Shiva must understand his duties and move on from her lover's passing, so they visited and request Naren-ten or Vishnu to give them a solution.

Naren-ten used his weapon The disc of auspicious vision or Sudarshan chakra to destroy the body of Sati into 52 pieces which landed around the Indian and Japanese region". said Mimiko

" Wow these to are a total mythology nerds" said Kanako and Kazuki at the same time .

" So what is for again , what you told was its origin" said Hiro as he pouted.

" What a jerk " said Hiroshi

Mimiko pointed at a shrine at top of the mountain and said :-

"It is said that the Temple of Shiva was the place where the eyes of Sati landed therefore this placed is worshipped for auspiciousness in future and good luck . The stone also have the power to turn evil spirits into good and vice versa. Over the centuries this place is protected by monks of Edo clan from various monster and demon. It is a common place for attack over many years". said Mimiko

" Oh that's why this place is under attack all the time " said Hiro

" yes " said Mimiko as she nodded.

Suddenly they heard a loud noise the shrine

" Oh shit , what was that " said Hiroshi

" Must be the bell " said Kanako

" We must hurry " she added

They all starting running to the top of the mountain and stopped for nothing. Boulders were falling from the cliff , the air became dense and fog increased, but they didn't stop for anything.

Hiro, Hiroshi, Kanako, Mimiko and Kazuki reached the top of the mountain which was full of fog.

" Do anyone knows wind technique here asked " Kanako

Everyone sighed and nodded no. Their was a mysterious shadow behind them . Kazuki grabbed it and smashed it on the near by tree.

" Wait wait time out I ... just caught...my breath " said Ryo

" Oh you finally made it Rui " said Hiro

" It's .... It's Ryo " said Ryo

" So what happened " asked Kanako

" I don't remember properly, the last thing I remember was that we were attacked by a group of Minions and the next moment Master Gorosuke untied me from the rope " said Ryo

" What do we do about the fog thingy" asked Kazuki

" I got this " said Ryo as he took a stance of a crane

" Wind technique style 1 " said as he clinched his hands

" Aerial slash " shouted Ryo as she flapped his hands at the fog

" Woah " said Hiroshi , " You have a Soul of a Crane " added Hiroshi

A strong gust of wind slashed the fog and the fog disappeared.

" Yes " said Ryo

" Let's go" shouted Kazuki as everyone rushed toward the temple

" Your welcome " said Ryo as he grunted

" Grandpa where are you"? shouted Hiro

" Someone help " as voice echoed from the back of temple

" Oh know pls don't be grandpa" said Hiroshi as everyone rushed inside the temple .

" Hmm maybe I should wait a little more " said the figure that was chasing them

" I must hurry back home and play the waiting game " said the figure as he prayed by bowing infront of the temple and went back to school.
