Angeli Caeci

- Written by Rowben. A life gives off many feelings. They give off warmth, a presence sensed. When a life is lost, these feelings go away. Within a subway, just arriving at it's stop, rested one without these feelings. They were cold, as it felt as if they weren't even there, but regardless, a life still remained. Upsat the being, a confused expression on their face, as they look towards their surroundings. It's dark, the lights broken as all that can be heard is the feint dripping of distant water. They stood theirself up, but something was off to them, they couldn't feel their palms pressed against the floor to push themselves up, they couldn't feel the warmth, nor coldness of their own body, they felt nothing. Angeli Caeci is a dystopian isekai with a darker atmosphere added. Morell, a quiet soul awakens in the body of the doll, now in a horrific city, consisting of mutations and supermatural beings. Morell learns of the city’s terrible Ruler, turning the place int a ghost town, in lack of proper living, a world of despair. Learning of her past family Morell is chosen to be the next ruler, planning to revolutionize thr current leader to return the city to it’s further glory. “Construct”

Morell walked throughout the streets, her head tilted low. What was hours felt like an eternity, Morell infinitely collecting her thoughts, her knife in hand.

She stopped in the center, a subtle sound heard in the distance. She looked down to her left shoulder, missing it's arm, the few left drips of her blood dripping down, as she then raised her head.

She twisted her upper body, a portal forming at her shoulder as the arm of a demon came forth. She punched with full force, as the man from before had ran into it, though tanking it entirely.

"Ah, it is the tainted doll from before.. I am Faust, now do not try to stop me, you'll only perish."

His threat hadn't phased Morell, as a second portal formed, her two demonic fists baragging Faint, though not a single one caused a mere dent to his body.

"Hm, pathetic. No wonder events turned this way."

He kneeled down on one knee, facing Morell eye to eye, his arm rested down upon his leg, as he spoke in a harsh tone, though a tone that spoke the reality.

"How do you expect to save your friends, when you can't even save yourself."

With a small movementnof his fist, Morell was sent flying back, Faust chasing her down as she skid across the road, though quickly regaining her stance.

Faust held his arm out, running past Morell as he arm caught her neck, slinging her forth, Faust then stopping as he stared down at her.

"You don't get it, I am God, you're just playing pretend."

Morell stood back up, holding her now leaking throat as her demonic arms braced herself for yet another punch, Faust's attack poking a hole between the two arms, though stopping right in front of Morell's face.

"Your power.. It's mere brute strength. You won't survive this!"

Morell shouted out, her hand flinging forth towards him, as she formed a black hole within her hand, making contact with Faust as buildings nearby quickly flew in towards it's gravitational pull.

Morell felt confidemt in this ending the fight, a slight smile on her face, though this smile was quickly ended. Her eyes widen, as not only was Faust holding back the black hole, he was pushing it back, and her with it.

"You truly believe that I spent decades for a mere boost in strength? You couldn't be more wrong."

Faust physically crushed the black hole between his hands, an explosion kept in bound between them, as he then looked down at Morell, a blue glow coming from his right hand.

"Your power is impressive, but I'm the counter."

Faust palm striked Morell in the face, her vision blurred and he rears deafened as she held her head. She hasn't felt pain until now, as if attacked mentally.

She rubbed her eyes, slowly opening them to be met with an odd surrounding. She stood on solid ground, though therr was nothing there. All was black, though stars and even planets were visible.

Her visions redirected to Faust, standing in front of her, a white aura almost like fire over his hands, as he held them out to the sides.

"This is space; my domain."

White electricity crackled over his body, as Morell quickly reformed her demonic arm, in replacement for her missing one, as she clenched her fists, light beginning to circle around her fists, as she opened her palms, two black holes forming.

Faust merely stood there, watching her second attempt with his arms crossed, as Morell clasped her hands together, the two black holes colliding with one another. She took a step forth, releasing one hand as she slammed the other into Faust, along with the black hole.

"There is one thing that can challenge a black hole."

Morell's attack was stopped with his mere hand, though in his hand emitted a white light. He reflected Morell's attack as it flew into the distance, his own hand containing a white orb of pure white, fluxxing out infinite amounts of energy.

"This. This is a white hole. Come back when you can make me bleed."

The white hole was launched into Morell's body, as though she was launched far away, her broken parts reformed. She was sent at speeds far beyond light, millions of galaxies in her sight, as she was slowing down, approaching her world.

As her body passed the atmosphere, it lit into flames. She faced the surface, her eyes widening as she formed one lat black hole, using it to stop her fall as, though it worked, the 4 city blocks around her were now destroyed.

Morell caught her breath, looking up at the sky, her fist grasping tightly on her burning clothes, as dhe heard a slow clap in the near distance.

"Quite a performance, falling from the sky. I am Saturn."

A man dressed quite traditionally approached. He stood tall, his spiky white hair updone into a ponytail, as he politely bowed to Morell.

Morell turned to him, her mind still allover the place, as she stared at the man, slightly startled from the sudden introduction.

"Hm.. not a wound on you, but I see the loss in your eyes. I see very well, you are not a fighter, but someone who fights. If it is to your need, I can make you a fighter."

Morell snapped back into reality, her expression returning to her normal blank face, as she bowed back, her hand olaced on her chest.

"I am Morell.. Might you explain further..?"

The man smiled, crossing his arms as he stood tall with pride. A powerless man yet power was still felt. A human who gave off the presence of a dragon.

"I can teach you the way of a fighter, I'll hone your skills, and without a cost. I see your potential, as well as the doubt in yourself.."

Morell frowned, as Saturn held his hand out. She though long and hard, debating on who she could trust anymore, though in the end, her hand slowly raised up, grasping his gently as she slowly shook his hand.

"I need to learn how to slice with precision, enough to cut space itself.."

She spoke in a more broad tone then usual, this wasn't about herself anymore, she felt a need to save this city from destruction. Saturn smiled, dhaling her hand back.

"I don't have much time…"
