"..."
The reporters were only bold enough to approach after they saw the monster disappear in the distance.
They had no idea what had actually happened at the scene.
Seeing only Wanda there, they naturally assumed it was all her doing.
"Um…"
Wanda truly wasn't good at lying, her expression revealing hesitation.
But remembering Hode's words, she could only manage a stiff smile and nod.
Faced with the reporters' relentless questioning, she felt overwhelmed.
Fortunately, Tony and Steve arrived just in time, dispersing all the reporters.
They set up a barrier around the area.
"Wanda, are you alright?!"
Steve rushed over, holding his shield, his expression serious as he asked.
From the scene, it was evident that this had been a tough battle.
Even the ground and everything around had been affected.
It could be said that the entire street had nearly been destroyed.
"I'm… fine. I wasn't hurt."
Wanda bit her lip and shook her head.
She had been merely watching; Hode had handled everything on his own.
"You've really gotten stronger!"
Steve glanced around, unable to help but exclaim.
Even an angry Hulk couldn't do much more than this.
Everywhere he looked, the destruction was beyond imagination.
"That monster wasn't killed by me."
Wanda took a deep breath and shook her head in denial.
Although Hode encouraged her to admit it, she didn't want to deceive her friends.
And if it had been her, dealing with that monster would certainly have been tricky.
Just the flames alone would have posed a significant challenge.
"Then who did it?"
Steve asked, confused.
He hadn't expected that someone so powerful existed.
"I… a mysterious person."
Wanda awkwardly shook her head, unsure of how to explain Hode's presence.
"Enough."
Just then, Tony, who had just dealt with the media, arrived and looked deeply at Wanda, his mouth opening slightly but not speaking.
Eventually, he turned away, swallowing his curiosity.
He knew for certain that Wanda wasn't lying; this mysterious person was precisely what he had been eager to learn about.
The one who had helped Wanda master magic and then stepped up to save the public.
The more he thought about it, the more elusive this person's identity seemed.
He wanted to ask, but the words from Hode echoed in his mind.
Better to let her reveal it herself.
"Scarlet Witch!!!"
"Scarlet Witch!!!"
"Scarlet Witch!!!"
"..."
Wanda turned back in confusion,
As a large crowd outside the barrier held up signs, chanting for the Scarlet Witch.
"The people outside are all your fans," Steve said with a smile as he noticed Wanda's puzzled expression. "Go ahead and give them an autograph and take a photo."
"Okay," Wanda replied, nodding as she walked over to pose for a picture.
However, she was completely unaware that at the back of the crowd, a pair of strange blue eyes was fixated on her. Those eyes were filled with greedy desire.
"The chaos magic is truly within her."
The figure in the crowd was none other than Agatha. Her gaze fell on the dust where the Minotaur had transformed. A smile spread across her face, and she trembled with excitement. "There's even the power of the Phoenix!"
What an opportunity the Almighty has given me! Chaos magic and the power of the Phoenix have appeared at the same time!
Agatha's eyes turned cold. She wanted both of these powers!
