Ch. 3: The Nyx Estate

"We've arrived" said by the Duke

Arius was startled when he hear the Dukes voice because he didn't notice that he fall asleep all the way to the Duke's Estate.

"Ah.... yes" Arius said and immediately get out of the carriage

'woah.... is this really where I'm going to stay from now on?'

"Oi hurry up I don't want to make everyone wait" said by the Duke with a straight face

"Um..... yes coming!!" Arius said and hurriedly run towards the front door of the estate

The front door slowly opened and a bunch of servants greet them proudly.

"Welcome Back Master~"

"Master Welcome" said by the Duke's Butler and Head Maid

"Oh.... my who is little cutie?" ask by the Head Maid

"Wow he's so cuuuuute~~~" said by the maids and their making a fuss because they think Arius is the cutest among the cutest kids

Everyone was shock when they hear what the Duke said because it's only been 7 years since the Duchess died because of an unknown disease.

The Duchess has always been healthy until she gave birth to their twins which is currently the youngest sons of the Nyx family until the present the day Arius became the youngest master of the family.

"Do we have to get ready for a new Duchess?" ask by the Head Maid and the Butler with worry in their voice

"What? no.... he's my adopted son and why would you think I would bring another woman? besides Irene... is the first and last woman that I will love with my entire life...." said by the Duke with a bit of irritation and sadness in his voice

" Ahem!!.... Arius Introduce yourself to them" said by the to broke the silence

"Hello I'm Arius..." Arius said with a straight face

"What? you should have told me earlier" Arius said with a bit coldness in his voice

"What the!!?? is he a duplicate of the Duke!!??" said by the servants when they hear what Arius just said because they feel the same way how they feel whenever the Duke is irritate or annoyed

"What!?" the Duke said with a bit of annoyance in his voice

"Nothing..." Arius whispered

"It's nice to meet you all I'm Arius Nyx I hope we can get along" Arius said with formality

"Alright that's good enough" said by the Duke

"Master where is Young Master Claude?" Ask by the Butler

Young Master Claude, he's a son of Marquess Alcides and Marchioness Alcides means even thought he's the Duke's assistant he's still a Proud Noble.

"Oh... I ask him and the others to take care of something for me?" said by the Duke

"Is that so?" said by the Butler

"Becky from now on you'll be the one in charge of Arius you'll also be the one who will be in charge of his room. I want him to have his own small library for now as well" order by the Duke

"Alright Duke" answer by the Head Maid

"And Benny I want you to be in charge of his needs you will also help Becky to make Arius personal library" order by the Duke

"As you wish Duke" answer by the Butler

"Alright, now Arius you'll have to sleep in one of the guest room for a while understood?" said by the Duke

"Alright" Arius answered boldly

"do you have a torture chamber?" ask by Arius

Everyone was shock after hearing what Arius ask to the Duke to the point even the Duke is a bit shock.

"yeah I have, we'll visit that place once we get the chance" answered by the Duke

(He really is interesting~) said by the Duke in his mind

(Hmm~ what a bold child) said by the Butler in his mind while looking at Arius

"Everyone you may go back and continue your work" order by the Duke

"please excuse us" answered by the servants and the others

"Arius come with me to my office" said by the Duke

"Why??" ask by Arius

"I have something important to tell you" answered by the Duke

"OK....." answered by Arius

Arius immediately followed the Duke to his Office to the second floor of the mansion.

"Sit down" said by the Duke

Arius settled himself in the couch inside the Duke's office

"So what do you want to tell me, Duke? said by Arius

"First, you should start calling ME Father or Dad from now on" said by the Duke while smiling and giving off a creepy vibes

(Ugghh.... so creepy) Arius said in his mind

"Alright Dad" Arius immediately answered

"Heh~"

"Right, the first day of next year is the day your older brothers we'll be back from the border in the north and the day you'll be meeting them for the first time" said by the with a serious face

"Oh... I have older brothers" Arius ask

"Don't pretend I know you know that the Nyx family has five sons and now there is six including you but no one knows yet I plan to introduce you to the whole Cepheus Empire once your older brothers came back" said by the Duke

"Oh.... Ok" said by Arius

"For now all you have to do is study like a real noble" said by the Duke

"When do I start" Arius ask

"you'll start studying next week, I will also be teaching you swordsmanship" said by the Duke

"What about assassination classes?" ask by Arius

"Oh... that? I'll teach once your brothers came back because they will also be teaching" said by the Duke

"Alright then...." Arius said with a bit of dissatisfaction

"It's dinner time... follow me time for dinner" said by the Duke

Arius follow the Duke to the Dining room to for Dinner.

*Knock!! Knock!!* Arius heard a Knock from hi rooms door

"Come in!!" Arius answered

The door slowly opened and it was just the Head Maid Becky.

"What is it?" Arius ask

"Young Master do you want me to read you a bed time story?" the Head Maid ask

"No.... Thank you I can sleep by myself" Arius answered

"Alright then Good Night Young Master"

"What's your name?" Arius ask

"Becky Boreas, Young Master"

"Good Night Too Becky" Arius said

"Yes....."

Becky turn off the lamp, came out of Arius room and slowly close the door.

'Uh... I can't believe it I have a new family, a new home and a new life, But I still miss Mom and Dad.....' Arius said in his mind and eventually fall asleep

*Knock!! Knock!!* the Duke heard a Knock from his office door

"Come in" the Duke answered

"Duke" said by the Butler and the Head Maid

"So what do you think of him, Becky?" ask by the Duke

"He's a very interesting kid on top of that he acts mature despite his age, actually when I talked to him when I visit his room I feel like I'm not talking to a kid instead I feel like I'm talking to a 20 year old men" said by the Head Maid

"Is that so what about you Benny?"

"I feel the same, he's very interesting" said by the Butler

"Alright, you may leave"

"Please have a good rest Master" said by the Head Maid and the Butler

The two came out of the office and slowly close the door.

(I wonder how those brats will react if they found out they have a new younger brother)

(Heh~ I can't wait to see their reactions) said by the Duke with a smirk in his face while writing a letter for his sons
