Back at Tempest

Souei was standing in the shadows, eyes closed but all seeing, the city was in silent turmoils, he could feel it, schemes were conducted in secret, many strangers are visiting the city for different reasons.

However, Souei kept an eye on every last one of them 'The female is the most secretive one, the human trio are obviously up to something even though they have only been eating and sight seeing...' He thought.

While he was thinking, his subordinate, Souka emerged from the shadow and spoke "Souei-sama, three new individuals from the beast kingdom are at the center of the city demanding to see the Lord of the city."

"Benimaru?" Souei asked.

"He is at the training grounds, Regurdo-dono is the closest to them and he is on his way to them." Souka added before she sank into the shadow again.

Souei frowned '...It's seems the trigger has arrived.' Souei thought before he sank into the shadow too.

...

At the city center....

Three beast people were standing in wait, A black panther man, A monkey man And a goat woman, they have called for the city lord and yet, no one is here to welcome them; the servants of The Beast Demon lord. They were sent here as embassadors from Lord Karion himself.

"Untill when Are we gonna wait?!" The black panther spoke in frustration while looking around at the citizens of tempest who were giving him the bored gaze.

"Excuse me! You must have been waiting for long."

The panther looked at the source of the sound and he saw a huge Hobgoblin with blue Tattoos on him, he was all smiles and sunshine "Aaah~ A goblin, well it's not a surprise then." Said the panther with a snicker, however Regurdo gave no attention to it and only smiled further "How can I help you?" He said.

"I am Phobio the panther, This is a nice city you guys have built, A city worthy to be under Lord Karion's rule. Call your lord here and let us not waste my time any further." Phobio spoke proudly.

"Haha! Surely you must be joking!" Regurdo laughed, a joke has been uttered and a laugh is required for the effort.

Phobia sighed and without a hint of malice, his hand quickly struck Regurdo in the face covering it in An exploding energy "A low life Goblin is laughing at my command?" Phobio said "Call your bastard lord now!!"

"To insult us is a thing..." Suddenly Something Grabbed Phobio's hand, and it was Regurdo's powerful hand "But to insult Acnologia-sama is a very dangerous thing to do in Tempest..."

"Geh!" Phobio felt pain in his hand, the man he thought he had destroyed his face was fine without a scratch after the smoke from the explosion settled "Let go!" Phobio punched again with his demon technique [Exploding Fist] But Regurdo just grabbed his other hand and twisted his arms down.

"Who is the bastard?" Regurdo asked while looking down at Phobio.

"PHOBIO-SAMA!!" his companions got nervous seeing Phobio getting pinned down.

However they all froze once Regurdo gazed at them, it was as if a demon was laughing and daring them to take one more step, and that wasn't all, they felt more malice from around them, the citizen they once thought were nothing but peaceful bystanders were all glaring at them with malice, the Orc guards, The Builders, the shop stand owner, and even a black beetle bug was staring them down.

"What the hell is this place?!" Phobio shouted in pain.

"I asked you a question..." Regurdo's harsh voice came again as he dug his nail like claws in his hand "Who is the bastard?"

"Damn you!!" Phobio grunted.

The air was getting hot and the moment was at its peak.

And at that moment, two words were spoken [Kill him] and Regurdo lost it and took back his fist only to launch it back at Phobio's chest with a black flame coating it.

When Phobio's doom was guaranteed, it only took one wooden stick from an old white haired Kijin to stop Regurdo's deadly fist.

Hakuro stood between Phobio and Regurdo with a peaceful atmosphere that broke the malice in the area "I think this is enough..." He said.

Regurdo looked at his hand 'I didn't mean to...what happened to me?' he thought.

Phobia was panting to hard, he saw his life flash right before his eyes.

Hakuro looked at Phobio's friends "You should help your friend here, return home and please know that our lord does not serve."

Phobio's companions snapped from their daze and quickly carried phobia away.

Once they were out of the city and everyone went to their work, Hakuro looked at Regurdo and shook his head "Regurdo-dono, That was a rash decision." He said.

Regurdo only nodded and looked at his fist "I only meant to crush his fighting spirit, I never intended to strike back."

Hakuro smiled "Your mind is clouded from overworking yourself, What are we gonna do if we can't seek help from Regurdo-dono when we need him? Is it best that you take some good rest and a moment of meditation. Acnologia-sama needs you in complete health." He said.

Regurdo smiled "It is as you say, Hakuro-dono. I shall take your advice." He then left to rest and reflect on what happened.

Hakuro had a strange Sharpe expression on his face "That situation was strange? Regurdo-dono would not make such mistake even if he had half of a mind." He spoke, it may seem he was speaking to no one, but the shadows beg to differ.

"Indeed...there was a spike of magiculus before that, someone did something." A voice came from Hakuro's shadow. "I'll keep an eye out.

"Please do so. The city is under our protection, Failing to protect our home once again will only bring a greater shame to us than before." Hakuro said as he walked away.

In another part of the city, three humans were walking to through the streets "What a shame, I hoped they would have killed each other." A spikey haired boy spoke with a bored expression.

"Can't be helped, someone interfered. Though that would have made our mission a lot easier." Another one with a smooth brown hair said through his smiling lips.

The girl in the group was not in a good mood, she was pouting "Why did that old fart stop the Goblin from killing the other dude, My skill effect was removed because if his presence, I'll kill him myself if I have the chance."

"We should just start rampaging and killing these monsters as soon as we can!" The spikey haired grinned and said.

While the brown haired boy only shook his head "And this is why you are not the leader."

"Fuck off!!"

Meanwhile, in another section of the city, a green haired woman with purple clothes was standing in front of a shining orb.

[Is that so? This is a valuable information.] A voice came out from the orb "You have done a good job.] The voice sounded pleased and the man has already made up a plan.

Tempest is going through great turmoils and none of it's leaders are present, neither Rimuru, Veldora or Acnologia. How will it defend itself.
