Acnologia Tempest: The Middle Brother

...So It has ended...? To think that I, Acnologia, The Dragon of Apocalypse will be defeated like that?! That pink brat broke the rules of magic, my defeat shouldn't have been an option.

...But...I am thankful, Finally I rest. My hatred left me with nothing. I feel bad for the Dragons. The hard work that was put into coexisting between Dragons and Humans went with the wind because of me.

Perhaps, a future of living with Dragons was possible. But I can only regret now.

Hatred plus all that power weren't really a good thing for me, in the end, I became the very thing I hated. A ruthless savage dragon.

My days as a doctor were better, perhaps I shouldn't have become a Dragon-Slayer, yet again, this is who I am, Acnologia; the Dragon King.

If there is a chance for me...I would like to live again, and experience what I have missed and what I have destroyed. Instead of the ruthless Dragon King, I want to be a True Dragon King, the same one, You Dragon Lords wanted, isn't that right? Fire Dragons lord Igneel?

Has it ended? Finally some silence.

...?! What is this sensation?! I feel like I am getting sucked into something!

After a short while, that sensation disappeared and now I can feel myself floating. This is very strange, it reminds of when I am flying as a Dragon...! I tried to open my eyes and immediately was assaulted by a huge load of sensual information... Normally this would have hurt.

But I tried to focused and soon my vision was clear, I was in a cave like structure. I could see where I am. Yet I can't feel neither my eyes..or body at that. This is strange...

I can't move my hands or body, yet I can float around. Where is this place?...The after life? Hell? Not quite right I can say.

Well, having nothing to do, I may even "walk" around and see where am I.

Hmmm...After "walking" for about 3 hours, I can say that this is a great feeling, the disgusting bloodlust is no longer affecting me, It is nice to have time to appreciate stuff around me...Even if I have seen nothing but rocks for hours now.

In the middle of my inner monologue, I stopped floating forward and looked at the creature that was still a bit faraway from me, but I could see it clearly.

'A bat?' the creature looked like a bat but it had a spider face. It was busy eating another creature of similar shape.

'oh, it noticed me.' The bat creature looked back at me and after I was in it's range, it body shuddered and it ran away immediately.

"I guess some things never change with me. Still as scary I take it." I spoke to myself, Although I can't see myself, I am sure whatever am I, is scary.

'Lets continue exploring, I have to find a way out.' For the past hour, I came sense a strong presence looming around in this cave. It feels familiar to me. I should make my way there and see.

However that proved difficult, this cave is bigger than expected, and with how slow I am floating, it didn't make things easier at all. Who cares, I don't have anything else to do.

Hm...Now this is annoying...I am lost, I am sure it has been days since I have been "walking" around, but I couldn't find the source of the that strange feeling, part of it because that source is producing some kind of magic aura that doesn't allow my senses to follow, to think that there is someone with higher magic output than me, displeasi-- I mean... Interesting.

In my journey, I have came across many creatures that live in this cave, but none of them tried to fight me, they all run away.

While I was self reflecting on my journey, my senses picked up another creature nearby, I moved towards it.

"Hm?" I noticed a blueish round creature trapped between a few rocks, it seems to be trapped there as it keeps bouncing between the rocks, unable to find his way out "What is this creature?...Should I test my powers on him?" I spoke out.

Then I noticed the round creature flinch and a sound came out "Wait!!"

"Hoh? It can talk, interesting!" I uttered. I was surprised, the creature didn't have a mouth to speak as I could see, but it still spoke out.

"Hold up, I am not a bad slime, don't hurt me!!" The creature spoke out again.

I stopped myself from trying to use my power and realized something 'Isn't this the same thing that I wanted to avoid, killing anything that moves?!'

"Hello?" The creature called out.

"Okay... Slime." I spoke out "I won't hurt you."

"Really?!" The slime spoke out in happiness.

"You have my word."
