Yet they got close and comfortable with each other slowly. Then things got ugly when certain misunderstandings worsened their differences. There were brawls, ego clashes, and doubts. Chapter 171- Amber’s madness

It was half past seven when Declan returned to the hospital. He found Yasmin sleeping while Natasha was working on her laptop and sitting on the sofa.

"Oh, you are back."

Declan frowned at her disdainful look. He couldn't stop himself from rolling his eyes. 'This woman's resentment of me grows by the day.' He scratched his forehead and scoffed, "Why? Are you disappointed?"

"Humph…" Natasha chuckled dryly and murmured under her breath, 'You will soon regret your past actions.'

She closed her laptop and put it back into her bag. She picked it up and rose from the sofa. "I am not disappointed." She walked out after dropping those words.

Their conversation woke Yasmin up, but she remained motionless with her eyes closed and pretended to be still sleeping. She didn't want to talk to him.

Yasmin had struggled to keep her emotions in check. She was afraid she would break down once she saw him.
