Chapter 172- Who is the biological father of the baby?

When Yasmin woke up the next morning, she spotted Declan sitting beside her on the bed. She stiffened subconsciously as he got closer. She blinked, then stared in astonishment at his smiling face, wondering what had happened to him this morning.

"Good morning." He reached out to caress her cheek.

Yasmin frowned and turned her head aside before he could touch her.

Declan's smile faded as he curled his fingers and drew his hand back. He soon resumed his smile and murmured, "I know you are upset with me. Yesterday, I left and returned late. I am sorry, sweetheart."

Yasmin turned to face him, her frown deepening. She was perplexed as to how he still called her "sweetheart". That word didn't make her happy. Instead, it pricked her like a thorn.

"Dad called me urgently," Declan continued. "I went to meet him at the mansion."
