The rewards from the daily quest, as Ezra discovered, were not always the same, but completely random. There was a time he even got one stat point as the best reward.
Another thing worth nothing were the monsters. He hadn't moved in much after getting to a certain section. The monsters there were simply unpredictable and powerful, unlike the former ones. These guys were no longer wild beasts, but intelligent beasts. Another thing again was that he had only encountered beast type monsters up until that point.
Certainly, after so much time, if there was to be talk about the endless abyss, Ezra would bring it up now, as the hopelessness of the situation was becoming clearer with every passing day. The strange thing however, was that he found himself wanting more. More strength, more experience, and even more strength. Maybe it was due to levelling up, but the feeling was constantly getting stronger was perhaps addictive, that it temporarily blinded him of all the danger and overall situation he was currently in, not that he even knew his situation to begin with. All he knew was that he woke up in this strange place with weird system, and he had been left there to suffer like some lab rat.
It was no problem however.
"If this power is going to use me for it's fun and amusement, then at least I will in turn use it to become as strong as possible!" Ezra said to himself, with burning determination in his eyes, as he faced his enemies with bloodlust within his gaze, piercing through the thick fur of the beasts and gripping their hearts.

Seeing as Recovery skill was very useful, Ezra ended up investing all his skill points into it to raise its level higher. Now that his skills were at level three, they seem to have become very difficult to master. Increasing his Endurance skill by one percent had become even harder than getting laid, not to mention his Recovery skill.
Without a doubt, Ezra had grown very much since he got to this strange place, and could no longer be compared to his former self. Sometime they say bad luck is a blessing in disguise.
'Now imagine if I didn't die… I'm sure I died.. Whatever'
"It doesn't matter now, also… Why are there never any good weapons in this store?!" Ezra questioned, not really expecting to hear an answer, but then, "Couldn't the system prepare something better? It's almost as though I'm being sent to my death here!" Not that he did not believe so already.
All the weapons in the system seemed to just be enough to defend himself against the monsters, and that was it. Really, it was either to survive by continuously buy weapons, or buy food. Not to mention, the deeper Ezra went and the more powerful monsters he faced, the lesser the frequency of them dropping edibles or even water.
At some point, Ezra started hoarding some goods. If this was akin to a game system, then there was bound to be those items with insane effects that required ridiculous ingredients to make.
That aside, it was finally time for him to advance further into the dungeon, or cave, whichever it was. He had gotten used to the new monsters and how they attacked. They had also become easier for him to handle in terms of pure strength, and even their names had now become almost yellow from orange.

Ezra saw the names pop up from the darkness, just before he caught sight of the monsters. Coming from all directions, Ezra could only use his knowledge and resourcefulness to face this multitude so.
He had been fighting these beasts for more than a hundred days at this moment and pushing forward, still there was no signal that it was coming to an end, and not to mention, levelling up had become more difficult these days. Ezra could only blame his higher level now, as it would take more EXP to level up now.
As Ezra could not see the amount of EXP he gets from killing the monsters, there was no way for him to calculate them. As he was could not see the amount of EXP needed for his next level up even, there really was no need. He could only rely on the system not to cheat him.
