"Why do I feel like wherever we go, the trouble follows?" Jayden complained while running. "Are we cursed or what?"

"It's just we take more dangerous missions, so the rouble finds us," Samantha said to Jayden. "Our first Gate Raid went without a hitch, remember?"

"Exceptions don't break the rule!"

"Eek! Is it coming this way?" Jayden increased his pace.

Right now, they were running away from where the Rank 3 Abomination was located. It had been just a few minutes since the alarms rang, and Rank 3 Evolutionaries had already been mobilised, they would arrive at the scene soon. 

'If the treasure even attracted a Rank 3 Abomination, it must be a very potent one. I wonder what it does…' A cohort of six Evolutionaries flew above them as they ran alongside the walls, headed straight for where the Abomination was. 'An Aerial Cohort? The Abomination must be tricky to deal with.
