Where's Félix?

(Where's Felix?) 

 "I'm Bang Christopher Chan. You can call me Chan" I looked up to see Chan's dimples smiling at me. 

 "Emilia Sanchez. I know who you are very well actually" I looked down to hide the blush. But no, not with Chan, it came right out. 

 Changbin, Minho and Han had gone to buy my chocolate and milk. 

 Nikki had dramatically added that she needed orange juice to calm her from her trauma. They had agreed to get it for her without batting an eye. 

 I wondered if it was cos we're stay or they weren't just catching it. 

 "She's Stay. Has lots of our pictures and she has your photo card at the back of her phone. You're her bias, I guess" Jeongin revealed like he was reporting at a news. 

 "TMI" Seungnim sighed. And I looked up at Chan's reaction. One thing I know for sure is that he wouldn't be looking at me and he wasn't. 

 "A Stay? Wow" he said looking interesting at the car tyres. Like what was he interesting about them now? 

 "And has lots of our pictures…" Jeongin was almost repeating his new report again when Hyunjin dragged him to himself and he kept mute. 

 "She's not obsessed" Seungnim defended like he was proud I wasn't. I guess he had suffered a lot from obsessed fans. 

 "She said you're a good leader" Hyunjin added for me. Jeongin nodded. 

 I couldn't just stay quiet so I added, "You really are a good leader. I hope you only take in good energy from Stay and don't overwork". 

 I smiled at my professionalism. I wasn't fangirling and I was proud. 

 My smile widened when he looked up with a smile, a shy mixed with pride kinda smile. 

 "Wait, where's Lix?" Hyunjin pulled Jeongin off his body. Jeongin pouted but then looked around for Lix. 

 Chan's smile faded and looked towards the school. 

 It came to my memory that he had gone to look for Nikki and I but we never saw him. 

 Nikki was in the classroom so I rushed to her hoping to see Felix there. 

 "Felix went with Han to look for us…." She trailed off when Seungnim walked into the classroom. 

 "Let's look for him. Come on". 

 We searched around the school. The hallway. The classes. The toilets. Staff rooms. Art room. Gym hall. He literally disappeared. 

 At a point, Seungnim was shouting his name. He then told us to split up while he goes reports to Chan. I felt bad about this. 

So I thought of worse scenarios. He was kidnapped. Or locked somewhere. Or fell and passed out. All dangerous. 

 I glanced at the school yard that was locked, and decided to peek in. I heard clucking and wondered what was behind. 

 Did our school have a poultry? 

 I raised my toes and saw young hens roaming about. And who was sitting watching them, while petting a little chick, Felix? 

 I looked at the fence. Did he scale it to meet these chicks or I am just short? 

 I didn't want to scare him or shout at him as he was far away from me. 

 I stood there hoping he'd notice me but he was immersed in looking at the chickens. I even waved but gave up when I realized I would look stupid when he noticed. 

 I just stood there taking in his ethereal beauty. His freckles being artistically decorated on his face. Lips. Eyes…. And I wasn't obsessed. 

 I sighed when my watch chimed 6pm. In as much as I knew my mom was so busy with her work, and wouldn't be home, I still would like very much to be home at such time. 

 I grunted again angrily and banged the gate. It seemed to get his attention as he looked up with an unsure look. 

 "Is he there?" I flinched and turned. 

 "Sorry, but is Lix there?" It was Chan. He looked worried and his hair showed he must have ruffled it due to frustration. Thank you, Lix. 

 When Chan saw him with 'his family', as he had called it, he began laughing.

 It was cute that I joined him. 

 "Lix is like that with animals. I'll call him. Go take care if your leg…" he said the last part giving my leg an unsure look. 

 Of course, they just have seen me walking normally as I set out to look for Lix. 

 "Yeah, it needs rest" I went on to limp away to the van. 

Han ran to me when he saw me. I became excited knowing my chocolate and milk had arrived. 

 "Your leg? What's Hyunjin doing that he couldn't go search for Felix. Or what was Innie doing?" he looked annoyed, making me regret why we were still pulling this lie. Seungnim was already seated at the van. 

 "Nah, it's okay. And we found Felix" I said audibly for all to hear.

 Minho looked worried watching me still limping. His eyes lit up when he saw someone behind me. 

 "Sorry. I saw a cute chick behind and it was so cute I had to touch it" Lix said excitedly. 

 The members smiled at him so I guess Chan was right. He was like that with animals. 

 Even Han didn't look mad anymore and just teased Felix for going to check on his family.
