It has been six months since I met Sam. She’s amazing. We had an excellent time together, and she blended in well with the guys. I’m falling for this girl. My dad kept trying to convince me otherwise. I didn’t see the big deal. Couldn’t he let me feel happy for once?

Then one night, things had changed. She wanted me to hang with an old friend of hers. I’m down for it. It meant she wanted to show me another part of her life.

We walked up to a house, and she knocked on the door. I recognized the guy who answered. He and my dad had gone way back.

/"Hey, is Zachery here?/" Sam asked.

/"Yeah, he’s upstairs,/" Zack said.

He let us in and looked at me.

/"Hey, Ryker./"

/"Hey, Zack,/" I greeted him.

/"Tell your dad to call me./"

/"Sure./"

She looked at me.

/"You know them?/"
