Coldness

We all sat down there in silence and I said,

"Wow...What a sh*tty life you lived."

"Well what can I say. I've escaped from my fake life and now I'm here"

"Wait so…"

I think back to when she looked like she was terrified. I started to realize that she was acting at that time.

"You were acting back there when you first came out!?!?"

"Why of course. My acting was pretty good wasn't it?"

Isra lifts her hand over her chest showing herself that she's proud of her acting."

*Boing*

"Hey uh Isn't it getting cold in here?" Ava says

Right after Ava said that I started to shiver a little noticing that it became a bit breezy.

Isra stands up. Ready to run anytime.

"I think it's time to move. The capsule is freezing over itself."

Ava and I stood up. The capsule expands from the coldness. It lets out an unusually low temperature and freezes the surrounding area slowly.

"The temperature is lowering more than it should have." I said,

Then it suddenly lowers dramatically at a point that we didn't even notice that our legs were already frozen over. Looking back towards the capsule it hasn't exploded yet.

"Great, now I have to worry about two things."

"We gotta go now!" Isra says panicking.

"We can't, we're already stuck."

Isra looks down and sees that she's stuck.

"When the hell!?!"

With her panicking I couldn't tell if she was acting even in the situation now.

"Well a normal person would be panicking."

Isra was the only one panicking. I and Ava were the only ones who were calm. Looking over at Ava I noticed that she wasn't stuck in ice like us. Ava broke out with her human-like strength which I started to notice when we came to this city. She walks in front of us.

"Don't worry I got this." Ava says.

Ava stands in front of us and holds her hand out. From my view I could see a blue light in front of her getting brighter. The light suddenly disappears then a thin blue surface like glass in front of Ava was spreading out surrounding us slowly as if we were in a snowglobe.

With Ava's ability fully surrounding us, we didn't notice that the capsule had exploded already until Ava turned her ability off letting us see the outside.

"What the hell just happened!?" Isra says surprised.

"What did you just do?!? That was awesome!!"

Isra was amazed judging by what I could see from her face.

"That was my ability there, amazing right?" Ava says,

"Of course I've never seen anything like it!! How did you do it!? Where did it come from?! How!?"

"Alright alright. Calm down Ava, can you help us get us out? It's freezing here."

Ava comes towards us taking out her knives from who knows where. Coming towards with one hit, Ava breaks the ice that froze over my leg. Ava goes to Isra breaking the ice that's frozen over her legs. I look around the room just realizing that the room was still bright.

"This is really weird. The lights shouldn't be working." As I say shivering a little.

"It might have been because the luminescent light from when it was glowing green on the ground made it so that when it was low temperature, the ground that's frozen light up because of what's under it." Ava says.

"That's so cool!" Isra being amazed

Isra didn't seem to notice the cold while she was still fascinated

"I think she should start to feel the cold now."

While Isra was asking Ava questions, her body finally realized that it dropped to a really low temperature.

"Wh- Whoa. Whe- when did i- it become so co- cold? And how are you tw- two not cold?"

I could see that Isra was shivering more than me.

"Take this," I said.

While Isra was talking to her, Ava thawed out the backpacks that were under the ice. Ava gave me the backpack. I took out some clothes that might've kept her warm.

She grabbed onto the clothes I had in my hands and wore them over the clothes that she already was wearing.

"It's still kind of cold but this feels fine." Isra says shivering less.

"How are you two not cold?"

"Well I… actually I have no idea. This might be because of Levin."

"Who?"

"It's the weapon that I have."

I showed my hand in front of me. Levin came out without me asking.

"Hello."

"What!?!?"

Isra was surprised that Levin came out. I'm especially surprised that Levin can talk now. But it didn't seem like there was a mouth or a hole to talk to her.

"You can talk to others now?" I say surprised.

"I still can't talk but I can telepathically connect to others now. But it only works for two people at a time for now."

"When were you able to speak to others?"

"Well it happened when you were frozen still.

"My name is Levin, nice to meet you."

"Nice to meet you. My name is Isra but what's up with the name?"

"My master gave me this name."

"Your naming sucks Min."

"What's wrong with my naming? Levin was fine with it."

"I indeed am fine with the name my master gave me."

"But how about Blood Surge? StemVortex? Kattar or Stun Gun?"

"Ok that last one is already a weapon name."

"Well anyway since I'm here. Can I come along with you all?" I said,

"Are you sure? I don't think that this is the right time or situation to be asking a random person to be coming along with?"

"It's fine, you seem like a good for nothing person to be worrying about."

"You mean I don't seem like a good for nothing person?"

"...Yeah."

"Oh good. Well anyway I'll be explaining what's happening while moving."
