Burning City (Fixing)

(12:40 am)

"What...the...f**k?"

Min looks at the city to see the whole city burning, buildings falling, People burning to death slowly melting...literally.

*Sniff*

"What"s that smell?"

Min could feel the heat spreading over the wall like there was lava going over. Min looks down to see that the bandages were burning and the smell of rubber from her shoes.

"Holy f**k! That sh*t burns!"

Min could feel beneath her shoes that if she wasn't wearing sturdy shoes at the time her skin would be sticking onto the surface of the wall platform.

"Ow ow ow!"

Min takes off the bandages and keeps jumping like the platform was burning her.

"...Oh wait it is."

Min still jumping around from her burning shoes finally realizes that there were corpses everywhere on the platform of the wall.

"Oh good, there is a lot of bodies here!"

Min jumps on one of the corpses that is slowly melting into the platform.

"Whew...So much for the bandages."

Min clasps her hand together firmly to not be disrespectful of the dead.

"Thank you for saving my f**king shoes or my life even. May you all live in the ground- I mean in peace."

Min stops clasping her hand together and takes the blood drink that fell on the sizzling body she's standing on.

"Now what the f**k happened here."

Min looks around the city with her hand over her eyes to block off her sweat while trying to find Ava. She doesn't see much since all the buildings are on fire.

"I can't see much in this heat."

Min still trying to search for Ava hears something in the distance. This noise sounded like it came from the side of where she was standing.

"Where the hell is that coming from."

Min looks to left her to see someone far away waving their hand inside a building that is on the wall

"Ava?... I guess I'll go see she still has some of my stuff anyway."

Min jumps from one corpse to another sees a pile of corpses right on the edge. Min drops down to the pile of the corpse. Min falls to feel the corpses were all squishy but not enough for Min to fall through.

"Eww it's all...well gooey."

Min sees that the corpses were actually just mutants not human.

"Huh...well at least I don't have to keep on apologizing."

While Min was trying to stand up a mutant was still alive grabbing onto her leg.

"Oh, why hello there." said while emotionless.

Min takes out the knife that in her thigs but then the mutant starts to melt into the pile of corpses.

"...Well okay then. I shouldn't be surprised since this is probably gonna happen a lot of times. Should've realized that a long time ago."

Min goes down the pile of mutant corpses and runs towards the building that the person was waving from. Some minutes later she makes it to the building to find that there were some people inside of the building. Some had lost their leg, faces burned and the rest are normal except for the people that were completely burned through their whole body that you couldn't even see their face structure. An old person suddenly comes up to Min saying something.

The old man points a man-made knife towards Min.

"Who the hell are you!?" he says with an old voice

"What?! you're the one that waved to me!"

"Oh...well come on in just mind the dead people and the ones that are crying."

Min walks with the old man

*Whisper*

"Crazy bastard."

"What did you say?" The old man says.

"Nothing nothing! Anyway, what the hell happened?"

"Ain't ya gonna ask that blondie that came here?"

"Oh, she's here!"

"Shut the hell up little girl you'll attract those things here."

"You mean the mutants."

"Yes but no. It's a different species of mutants."

Min follows the old man to a staircase that is leading down the building. She follows him down with the lights starting to get a little bit dimmer and dimmer.

"What type is it?" Min says.

"To put it simply the mutant's form was lava. It was made out of actual lava so it would be burning everything around it and melting anything that gets inside of its form. It should be in liquid form and the size of any form and would be of any size since it could split.

"Huh. Nice to know."

Both reach the lowest ground of the building to see a door in front of them.

"...By where are we going?"

"Your friend is here sleeping like a block."

"...Great I can take my stuff back and get out of here."

The old man opens the door and enters. Min enters through the door to hear a bonk behind her. Min touches behind her head to feel blood coming out of her head.

"F**k you...old...man."

Min drops on the floor making a thunk sound that could be heard echoing through the room she entered. Unexpectedly before Min loses consciousness the room looked like it was an experimental lab.

*On Ava's side*

"F**k it's blocked!" Min being annoyed.

"Can't we just jump over the wall?" Ava asks.

"I guess so...wait what do you mean?"

"We can just jump over the wall...well barely watch."

Ava bends her knees and jumps making a crack on the ground barely holding on to the top of the wall which is 20 feet high. Ava lifts herself going over the wall.

"Goddamn, it's hot in this city."

Ava raises her hand over her eyes from the hot temperature in the city. By accident when Ava lifted her hand she activated the barrier. Ava could feel around her that it was at a cozy temperature.

"Oh wow I didn't know my power could do this.

Ava could feel that the platform is about to break underneath her.

Oh sh*t!"

Ava tries to run away from the plate form but to no avail, she falls through the platform Ava falls to realize that she was still falling, and apparently, she fell through to an underground building.

"F**k that hurts how the hell did I survive that."

Ava looks around to see that from where came from it was pitch black. Ava looks around but it was dark in till she heard a growl and sees a flash of light. From that moment of the flash, it looked like bodies a lot of bodies at that.

"What the f**k?"

The light flashes a bit faster. Ava could see that she was right. It was dead bodies everywhere in this big room and it all looked like it was deformed like it was all experimented on.

Ava could hear sounds starting to get louder like bodies were waking up. The lights start to slowly flash faster and faster.

"Nope, I'm getting the f**k out of here!"
